10 hours seems like about the right amount of time that I would want to spend going through the single player story in Uncharted 3.

It would be a shame to be sick of the game before the end of the story. I would much rather end with a feeling of "man, I wish the story would just have been a little longer" rather than "Well, I'm glad that's finally over".

Why would you suddenly stop gaming just because you turn 30/40/50/whatever?

I'm just coming up on 30 now and I'm enjoying games as much now as I did when I was 10.

Sure, if you just can't find time for it in your life then I'd understand, but otherwise I don't really see what age and gaming has to do with eachother.

Maybe it's because gaming is still considered "immature"?

It's not like anyone is asking "gee, I'm reading books now at 15, but I sure can't see myself reading a book when I'm 50".

Clash of heroes definitely for me.

Also just recently picked up Orcs Must Die! and that actually kept me entertained for a good number of hours.

For me it's probably mostly for the story.

I love good stories in games and RPG's often tend to have some of the best.

I also like how a good RPG will give you a sense of developing your character and make you feel like you've become so much stronger at the end of the game.

I think you can start off on The Witcher 2 just fine.

I played3-4 hours of the first one and just could not get in to it at all.

Played a couple of chapters of The Witcher 2 now and really loving it.

Sure, there are a few things that you have to work out as you go along, with regards to who the various characters and factions are, but I think everything you need to know is explained to you in the first few hours of the game.

I'd probably go with AC2 as well.

Simply an incredibly fun and polished experience

Hmmm, those are very very different experiences.

I'd say maybe Deus Ex, because you can be "done" with that game in 3 weeks and feel that you've seen all the cool things, where Shogun 2 might keep you busy for well over 3 weeks.

No, I also had a pretty akward time with that game.

Fun... but akward

Just like being a teenager all over again

DoW 1 is still a really fun game, I think.

It's a pretty good RTS game and if you have any love at all for the Warhammer 40k universe I'd say go for it for sure!

Of course, DoW2 is a much prettier game, and I think the multiplayer is superior.

But the single player experience is very different from your normal RTS game there

There is an incredible big difference whether Blizzard allows for straight up buying gold for cash or whether you have to rely on 3rd parties that are doing stuff that will potentially get your account banned if it is discovered.

There is a *large* part of the player community that will never consider the risk of dealing with more or less shading sites that require PayPal payments, and an even larger part that simply do not take that (admittedly very small) risk of having their account banned and losing years of time invested.

By providing them with a Blizzard sanctioned means of getting gold for cash this opens up for all of these players to start spending money for gold.

That is a game changer for sure.
