My point here is that it looks better than 16 msaa, and it was done on the PS3 first. Doesn't rreally matter but at least sony actually really did make the most powerful console this generation which is what 90 percent of the arguments here are. I Really hope they use this AA technique on Other EA games.

At no point did they say in the article it looks better the 16x MSAA where did you get that from?!? They said "In a best-case scenario" that means that the Saboteur may not even be producing that yet!

I'm not sure if rotating your console while a game is running is safe pratice in general...

Done it on my PS2 many times with no problems. 360 is the first console that I've had problems with this...althought i'm too scared to try it with PS3 since I'm out of warranty now lol.

The Average Day Of The Console Twitcher

The console twitcher sits down to play his console, the console standing there upright and proud. The console twitcher begins to play his game, many hours pass but the console twitcher can't get this nagging feeling out of his head.

He keeps looking across to his console standing there in all its vertical-ness until he can't take it anymore he gets up and lays the console flat.

The console twitcher happy with his work and how his still proud console looks, sits back down to play his game. Many hours pass the console twitcher starts to get that same nagging feeling again.

He looks across to his console laying there in all its flat-ness teasing the console twitcher. The console twitcher can't take it anymore he gets up again grabs his console and puts it back to standing vertical.

The console now standing vertical wondering why the console twitcher decided to lay it flat to begin with and also to why the console twicher didn't turn it off first.

The End

I don't understand why someone does this isn't it common sense not to move your console while its on?!?

I didn't even move my consoles around during the 8/16bit days i sure wouldn't do it now. Do you move your PC, place it on its side, while its on?. . . .No?! then don't do it with you console.

While it's been confirmed that UE4 won't be available for current gen systems, there is nowhere that says Gears 3 won't be released this gen. There was an article on IGN where they said Gears 3 won't be out this gen, but was later updated stating that they misinterpreted Mike Capp's comment. He actually said that Gears 3 could very well be out this gen. He said, "If we ship a game in the next few years, it'll be Unreal Engine 3," he said, "If we ship a game on next [generation] consoles, it will likely be Unreal Engine 4". Seeing as how Gears is supposed to be a trilogy, it would make sense to release the 3rd one this gen. Plus, seeing as how popular Gears of War is, I am pretty sure the 3rd one won't be the last.

You are right it does make sense to release it same generation but its not always the case another big franchise has released during seperate generations GoW 1 & 2 PS2 and GoW 3 PS3.

Before Killzone 2, Halo 3 was my favorite FPS but Halo 3 hasnt aged well at all to be honest.. Killzone 2 is straight aces in almost all areas aside from story. The multiplayer is just so fun and intense and the leveling system isnt noob friendly and you have to have skill to actually level up.

LOL Halo 3 hasn't aged well?? Tell that to the 600K people on average playing every day.

and does 600k people playing magically make the game good? halo 3 has aged horrible, the graphics are very medicore compared to todays standards.. It feels extremely last gen, the guns and explosions sound weak and the overall game is just plain boring

Really Halo 3 was your favorite FPS before Killzone 2 came along?! Doesn't seem that way from that little hate rant so a game that feels extremely last gen and is boring is your second favorite FPS this gen? . . . Come on who you trying to kid?

Bats do have excellent hearing though, yet all I hear from you is drivel to be honest. Also I guess "blindness" is better than tinted goggles obviously. :P

I adored the first game so im quite suprised to see that a few of you are even remotely pesimistic about this annoucement. . . i couldn't be happier!

As a Wii title the graphics are very well done from what i saw in the video review the realistic and well animated character models, lighting and those excellent real time cast shadows its a lovely looking game. This should be on every Wii game list when trying to show the graphics capabilities of the Wii! As for the length it is a very short game, does it have multiple endings like every other Silent Hill game? if so that would atleast add some replay to the game.
