@DriedMoss @NightStein I like the action route RE6 takes. RE4 started with all the extreme action, and RE6 I think has improved on it. My favorite parts are the first two chapters for Chris in his silly Call of Duty levels.
@DriedMoss @fog90 @NightStein I do not think Resident Evil was ever very scary. Silent Hill, now that was scary. I'm not saying it's a bad thing. RE4 had its scary moments. RE6 has a new type of Regenerator, the scariest enemy in RE4. There are segments where you must evade fearsome regenerators while wandering around mazes trying to figure out how to escape. These moments are pretty harrowing!
@DriedMoss @Villimax @ZRavN I think they get a little over the top with the emotions. Chris especially blows PTSD way out of proportions and acts really ridiculous, like he is just doing it for attention. I mean Resident Evil is far and away a better storyline than, say, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.
@Sam3231 Yeah right. He would give it a 10/10 because you don't have to open doors and instead of QTEs you just left trigger/right trigger all your enemies to death with assault rifles for 5 hours straight, then play a terrible multiplayer game that doesn't encourage teamwork.
@69ingChimpmunks There are not even that many QTEs and they don't hurt the pace at all, and I have beaten two of the campaigns already. I would say they are done very tastefully. RE4 and RE5 also had lots of quick time events. More than RE6!
@ZRavN @DriedMoss My friend and I have been having a blast on co-op. I don't think you have actually played the co-op. The shooting is very satisfying. Enemies actually react to being shot. The story is terrible but it seems to me you have not played the game.
@typahl21 QTEs are definitely rare and not that hard to do. This game is a great experience on co-op or single player, unlike most co-op games nowadays that rely on their co-op and make the single player watered-down.
