Primitive? No. A bit Dated? Maybe. Still tons of fun if done well? Absolutely!!

I think any genre or style of game that's been around from early on in the gaming world runs the risk of being labled as dated but I don't think that makes them any less worthy of a good look if they're done well.

Zombie Apocalypse is a game that I have yet to play but I think looks like a crap load of fun for thesole fact that it reminds me of a lot of the games I grew up playing.

I wish I could add something insightful here but I've only ever played the original Metroid Prime on the Gamecube and I've never seen Citizen Kane. I am intrigued however.

I've somehow managed to resist the urge to play that game. For one it doesn't look that interesting but I've only ever seen people playing it. I imagine that actually playing it yourself adds an intangible new level of interest and fun that makes it all worth it. That kind of makes me want to stay away even more though. I have this fear that playing it make suck me in to the point where playing it is all I want to do. :)

Anyone else here never played it? What's YOUR reason?

As great as Call of Duty 4 was and as much fun as I had playing it, idiots ruined the online aspect of that game. If I had to hear one more 13 year old kid call me "son" I probably would have killed myself. Luckily I left on active duty for seven months.

As far as quality of the game itself, Perfect Dark Zero pretty much blows.

P.S. You're dead son!!

Doesn't really matter. Price and quality are what I'm going for.

If you want a large one, and can convince yourself to get a DLP instead of LCD, this is a very good tv and has the best picture quality of any television that I've seen. It's a little more than you are looking to spend, but with the high resolution 120hz dlp tv that it is, it would be a worthwhile buy for me, if I had a big enough room to put it in. My parents have this one.

Alternatively something like this includes a ATSC tuner and is quite a bit cheaper.

There's such a large variety of possibilities when you don't have any specific requests in your TV. I have a Sanyo lcd, which outperforms my brother's Panosonic but I wouldn't recommend Sanyo in general because of their history of electronic quality.

Awesome. Thanks.

I'm looking for something in an LCD in the range of 700 to 800 dollars. Any suggestions on something solid I can get for that?

Nah. I was on orders for a large part of 2008 so I've spent most of this year playing catch up in all the titles thatI missed. Now that I'm finallygetting caught up, we're getting ready to be hit with a flurry of promising new games. My bank account will be taking a hit but it should be fun. :)
