[QUOTE="Douevenlift_bro"]Forza and Titanfall.. If you wanna build a case on graphics pick better titles.

Douevenlift_bro

Ha ha, Titanfall only won E3 award after E3 award. Yeah, I suppose we should choose a PS4 title than won nothing instead.

May turn out to be a fun game, but Titanfall_E3_005.jpg

Yup them E3 awards...

They were there. They played it. You're just a guy with a jpeg. I'll take their word for it.

So basically it boils down to this. PS4 GPU @ 800MHz 1.84 TFLOPS 57,600 MTex/s 25,600 MPix/s 176GB/s Xbox One GPU @ 853MHz 1.31 TFLOPS 40,944 MTex/s 13,648 MPix/s 68GB/s + eSRAM Wouldn't be surprised to see both systems receive another set of upclocks in a year or two.LordOfPoms

There won't be any upclocks after a year or two. Once you've shipped your first unit that's it; the specs are locked in stone ... except for maybe really basic stuff like lessening your OS footprint.

why dont you read the digital foundry article? all the info is in there.

[QUOTE="blackace"] My thing is, why make changes if it will won't make a significant difference? So the change will either make a REAL difference or it just won't happen. One more thing. Is this ALL the changes? lol!! Is there more changing coming that you and I don't know about? Keep that in the back of your brain until Gamescom. tormentos

Well, I use to be one of the guys saying that upping the RAM amount wouldn't be a big deal. But that's before just 5 gigs being for the games was confirmed for both systems. At this point I think adding more RAM could be significant for MS. For one thing it's a move Sony can't counter since they're using GDDR5. And the other thing is it gives them some kind of bragging point. Right now the hardware has no advantage at all that I can think of. But if it has more RAM than PS4 at least that's something. I don't think it needs to be 12 gigs though. 10 would do the trick. But like I said before I very much doubt it will happen.

This is why i consider you a joke of a poster...

Everything is possible on MS land anything is impossible on sony land....

The is no 12GB of ram it would serve for nothing with that weak GPU,it would be for streaming,it would cost a ton an unlike a small clock bump, the console design and modether board had to be change to accomodate 8 more chips,by the way DDR3 runs hotter than GDDR5,because of higher voltage.

Lol, I mentioned in a previous post in this thread that I wasn't sure if it was possible or not. Unlike you I don't go around pretending to know about things that I don't. Some hardware stuff I know about, some I don't. But you're nuts if you think I'm gonna take your word for it cuz you've proven time and time again that you don't know half as much as you think you do. I remain unsure if it's possible or not. However, and I've stated this over and over, it's not something I expect to happen.

[QUOTE="blackace"] I don't know how much it will improve it, as we have to wait for the numbers, but it definitely won't make the XBox One weaker, that's for sure. If they increase the RAM to 12GB as well, that might do the trick. blackace

Increasing the ram to 12GB will do nothing the xbox one can't procces more than a few GB of data per frame,in fact the more powerful PS4 can process almost 6 GB per frame,so having 7 for graphics will serve for streaming most probably than anthing else.

70 Gflosp will rise a frame at teh most.

You're nuts. More RAM is always better. Devs will always think of something to do with it no matter how much you've got. Respawn is already saying they wish they had more RAM than what they do for Titanfall ... and it's just a launch title.

TitanFall isn't a launch title, but it makes sense they would want more RAM. You can never have enough RAM.

OK, a first generation title. The point still stands.

Yes, the PS4 is technically more powerful. We all know that. But you're the one waving your fanboy colors around by proclaiming that certain games look better than other ones when they actually don't. PS4 has the better specs but ya wouldn't know that from the game footage shown at E3. If that was all someone had to go on they'd be left supposing exactly the opposite.

It wasn't me calling teh PS4 controller sh**...

Oh, back to the controller then ... you didn't say it ... but the PS4's controller IS shit.

[QUOTE="tormentos"]

Microsoft corporate vice president Marc Whitten has spoken about some of the changes and additions Microsoft is making to the current Xbox One development kits, including an increase to the GPU's clock speed and a new graphics driver.

Speaking on the podcast of Microsoft spokesperson Larry Hryb, Whitten said "this is the time, and this is the thing I think people are going to see as we get into Gamescom and people get their first look at new things since E3. This is the time where developers have the final dev kits in their hands, they're really working closely with us on how things have come together. There's some things that have really started to come together quite well."

Whitten also said that Microsoft's internal beta for the Xbox One was currently running, and that the hardware manufacturer was releasing daily builds for the console's operating system.

New additions to the Xbox One hardware since it was last shown at E3 include a new graphics driver and an increase to the GPU's clock speed, says Whitten.ronvalencia

Taken from GA.

53mhz speed bump 1.3 TF .07 bump in TF count.

I want to see now those that will act like this is something incredible that will put the xbox one on par with teh PS4..

Minor speed increase.

Yeah, I think he's gonna be sadly disappointed if he really thought someone was gonna make a huge deal out of it. Is it an improvement? Sure. But not much of one.

If they really want to make a difference they should add more RAM (Of course a new GPU would be the best thing. But it's too late for that). I don't think that going to 12 is even necessary. Going to 10 would make a big difference. Could be 7 for the games, 3 for the OS. They won't do it though, of course. I don't even know if it's possible.

You keep rambling about "baked" effects. I don't care how they're done. A game looks good or it doesn't. Foza was the best looking driving game at E3.

And btw, PS4's controller sucks.

tormentos

So that 53mhz has return you to your usual hardcore lemming state i see.

I am sure that if the PS4  run drive club with baked everything it would ran quite faster than 60fps,you should care because that is a testament that the xbox one doesn't quite handle effects like the PS4 does, and there are some effects on PC that can't be faked..

Yeah the PS4 controller sucks that is why every damn site is loving it,and some have even claim is superior to the xbox one controller..
