That sure was wiped out quickly. Amazing to me they tried if that's all they had. These guys just sacrificed everything when it appears they had no chance.

Ground they've lost? Who gives a shit about Syria and Iraq when they're being invited to live in America and Europe? Seriously, who's left to win battles in the middle east when they're being welcomed with open arms in western countries? Ever notice that these so-called "refugees" are almost entirely young, fighting-age men? Invading army is more like it. But these politicians don't care. To hell with long-term consequences when there's short-term power and money to be gained.

I can understand why the public gets riled up about this subject. There are police officers out there that are much too quick to resort to violence. But at the same time I understand how it happens. It's a stressful job. Sure, some of them really are just assholes but with some of the others it's about nervousness and fear and adrenaline leading to a dumb mistake. It's a big problem but I doubt there's any easy solutions.

What really annoys me, however, is how the media have collectively decided to turn this into a black issue. The CNNs, FNEWSs, and MSNBCs of the country don't make much hay about them but if ya look around on the internet you'll find PLENTY of instances of cops gunning down white people for no good reason. Happens all the time. But for whatever reason these cases rarely make national news. But when the person being shot is black .... holy shit!!!!! Gotta put that on every channel in the country and drone on about it endlessly. I'm not completely sure what the purpose is but there is definitely selection bias there.

When I was a teenager I got in some trouble and had a cop put a gun right to my head. After I was cuffed he tossed me not onto the seat but face first into the floorboard of the squad car with only my legs making it onto the seat. He then says to the cop driving "If he moves, shoot him. He's payed for." And y'know what, I didn't move, just stayed there. I believed they might do it. The point is my whiteness didn't spare me from that sort of treatment at all.

You're not the first one I've seen here play around with their words. They said something about 4k in one part and then something about 60 fps in another. They never said 4k/60. But you know that, of course.

Pretty obvious Scorpio was announced as an attempt to slow Playstation sales. If it slows their own sales as well "so be it" seems to have been the thought.

Obvious why they announced Scorpio. They know they've already lost the battle against PS4. But they're still hopeful they can do better than PS4 Neo. They announced Scorpio to slow down Sony sales. It'll slow their own sales as well but I guess they felt it was worth it.

Seems to me this stuff really got going when the 24 hour news networks got going. Prior to that the two sides were annoyed by each other. Now they hate each other.

I've seen a lot of retarded political threads at this site but holy shit, this one is ... no words adequately describe it. This country probably won't survive the trigger warning and safe space generation growing up and taking over.
