Explain to me why the framerate is broken on the PS4 version of Witcher 3, genius? If not because of the CPU (Which virtually everyone in the comments section of the eurogamer articles attributes it to) then what?

Double buffer, problem, dude. NOT A CPU problem, genius!

And who gives a shit about Project Cars? It's a nothing game, certainly not important like Witcher 3 is.

Because PCARS run worse than on PS4, that's why game is not important? Damn, that Xbot's logic.

Because it's a driving game (Yawn) rated at 80%, not a GOTY candidate rated in the 90s.

And wow, you sure isolated the cause of that framerate problem quick! Please be kind enough to share with CDR what the problem is so they can fix it cuz obviously they don't know as much about their game as you do.

And how the hell do you know what Project Cars is heavy or light on? You got the code sitting in front of you?

Project Cars doesn't even make sense considering the resolution disparity. If they were both running at 1080p then I'd get it, the X1 instability would be logical. But if PS4 can do it smoothly at 1080p then X1 should do it equally smoothly at 900p. The only thing I can put it down to is that this team didn't know how to use the ESRAM properly.

They do. 32MB is just a stupid low amount.

OK, didn't know how to use as well as others have been using it.

Hahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa...

7CPU 1.75ghz cores used on xbox one vs 6 1.6ghz cores on PS4..

Dude the xbox one doesn't have a 20% advantage i already told you that and showed you how with 7 cores still could not beat a well coded game on PS4.

Oh did i mention the XBO version lack temporal AA and is 900p.?

Look at Batman Arkham knight as well more stable frames on PS4 that one is open world and is 1080p over the xbox one 900p setup.

What you get here are games were the developer will not go the extra mile on PS4,they get it to a certain point and leave it and focus more on the XBO which does need more work to reach the PS4 frame wise.

By the way Project Cars is a CPU intensive game with lots of draw calls.

Any game having the same resolution in both and having lower frames on PS4 is screw up on PS4,there is no parity between a r250X and R265.

What the hell does that even mean? The Xbox One will beat out a PS4 in a game that completely strains the CPU but not the GPU and the PS4 will beat out the X1 in a game that does the opposite. In this day and age most games are GPU-dependent so that's why the PS4 has an advantage most of the time. It has nothing to do with ''well-coded games''. Xbox One has a physical advantage with its CPU and PS4 a physical advantage with its GPU.

He refuses to acknowledge that. In his world PS4 is better at everything than everything in every situation at any time because it has the angelic word Sony written on it.

Bullshit. There's more to it than that. Something is throttling it. Given the difference in the GPUs PS4 should be able to handle it at 1080p if X1 can at 900p. Something else is happening. And seriously, anyone that prefers the PS4 version is nuts considering the framerate problems. The added resolution ain't worth that.

Oh really.? So tell me which gap is bigger the one on The witcher 3 or the one in Project cars.?

The funny thing is you can't and haven't explain why Project cars with 7 CORES of its CPU is slower than the PS4 version...lol

Because the PS4 runs higher resolution on a demanding game.?

The witcher 3 is not 1080p on xbox one.

1080p is 44% more pixels than 900p.

By the way The witcher 3 was unveil on xbox one so maybe it was more optimized on xbo,the same crap was say about ACU and a patch deliver parity frame wise on both games.

Now explain how the xbox one uses 7 cores and is slower vs 6 on PS4.

This game was made with parity in mind just like destiny and many other it mean nothing and is not a CPU issue.

Not gonna go through this with you again. Enjoy your delusion. PS4 has a balance problem. Its CPU strains to keep up with its GPU. X1 doesn't have the same problem because of in addition to a slightly higher clock it's paired with a GPU it can handle. You won't acknowledge it because of your rabid fanboyism.

Yeah is delusion...ahahahaa

There is no balance problem on PS4,do you want me to quote Project cars developer stating how they had to use the xbox one 7 core to speed frames.?

Is the fact that you completely ignore to what amount 150hmz in real performance,is basically nothing not even a frame of difference in stronger CPU,in fact i have even posted benchmark showing a 200mhz difference between the same CPU on an intel one and the difference was 1 frame, you people are a joke with this ridiculous false claims of CPU bottleneck of advantages fact is 150mhz more on xbox one would yield 1 frame more IF your GPU is up to it,which is most cases isn't.

Then the xbox one has bigger problems like not been true HSA,and having a cumbersome memory structure, the only unbalance system is the xbox one,it has a weak GPU with a weak CPU and a cumbersome memory structure.

Explain Project cars gap in frames and how is possible that the xbox one using 7 core of its CPU still is slower.

This should be a good one..hahahahaa

man, more and more multiplats are having framerate issues on ps4. bu..bu..bu..teh 40% more powah!

Yeah maybe that is the reason why the xbox 360 has less frame problems than the xbox one on Dishonored..hahahahaa

@Wickerman777 said:

It's the CPU. That could be remedied with its GPGPU capabilities but if a developer uses that to gain a compute boost then much of its graphics rendering edge will be lost at the same time. Again, it is technically ahead of X1 but lots of people are exaggerating the degree to which it is.

Hahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa...

So you are back to your inner lemming form..hahahhaa

A sole computer unit would yield more than 100 flops if GPGPU,also using GPGPU is a way to run both computers graphics and compute at the same time and actually get more performance out of your GPU not less.

Yes because we exaggerated on Project Cars,900p,no temporal AA still up to 14 FPS slower even while using 7 CPU cores.

Enjoy your 20% CPU advantage delusion also. If you calling other member a fanboy, WTF are you then?

I'm the one saying both of these machines are garbage.

@SolidTy: For a below average game I'm sure having a lot of FUN playing it!

70% is below average now? I thought that was average if not on the upper side of average. We've got some wacky scoring in games though as 70% would be considered a good score in a lot of other mediums.

PS4 does have a tech advantage but it ain't as much of one as you might be thinking it is. It's got around a 40% GPU advantage but that is hampered by it currently having around a 20% CPU disadvantage. The CPU in it really isn't good enough to keep up with the GPU and bottlenecks are created, rendering some of its GPU advantage mute. Both of these consoles are shit technically, not just X1.
