@Wickerman777: Sales don't define a flop here in System Wars.

Lol, so how are you defining it? By critical success? Like it has to average at least 90% at Metacritic to not be a "flop?" Bayonetta and Bayonetta 2 have done that but the series hasn't achieved nearly the same level of commercial success. Because of that there's a very good chance there won't be another Bayonetta. But I'm quite confident there will be another Destiny, Watch Dogs, Assassin's Creed, and Halo.

All the blockbuster flops this year. Destiny, Watch_Dogs, Ass Creed, Halo...

Flop definition: A total failure

Destiny sales: Approximately 8 million

Watch Dogs sales: Approximately 7 million

Assassin's Creed: Unity sales: Approximately 3 million

Halo: Master Chief Collection sales: Approximately 1.5 million

And that's just physical sales. Who knows how many digital copies have been sold.

I think some of you could have payed more attention in English class.

The Shitbox's failure to make a comeback despite the lem's insistence that it would do so at launch, in March, in June, in September and in November.

Hmm, how are you defining comeback? It is selling better than it had been. If you mean the graphics there's nothing they can do about the hardware now. That's set in stone.

One of the things I've been getting a kick out of, and I've been seeing it with increasing frequency, is the notion that when a developer shows early work-in-progress footage of a game that somehow amounts to a "promise" or "guarantee" that the game will forever look at least as good as it did at that time. We got it earlier in the year with Watch Dogs and now it's happening with Witcher 3. These people act as though early preview footage is equivalent to some kind of binding contract. No, it isn't. It's merely a snapshot of how the game looked at that particular moment in its development cycle.

And btw, I don't think you guys know what a flop is. A flop is a game that doesn't sell. It has nothing to do with controversy about how a game's online code runs. MCC has sold just fine.

Sony is bleeding cash. Of course they're not going to match desperate price cuts from their competitors if they don't absolutely have to.

Only at this forum can the idiotic notion that a 10% upclock on a CPU > a 50% margin on GPU power rage on for pages and pages.

I doubt it'll happen but Sony and MS's weak hardware left the door WIDE open for a Samsung, Apple, or whomever to enter the console market with an appropriate next-gen system.

But anyway, it says in the article that the product is likely not a console.

well, it does seem to get the x1 on par with multiplats right now.

NO.... DA is superior on PS4,Shadow Of mordor,COD Advance war,and several others now Pes 2015 as well and is 720p on xbox one 1080p on PS4..lol

@evildead6789 said:

Sure but that 7770 has a 256 bit bus instead of the 128 bit bus on the standard chip and that bit bus is directly connected to the esram. It's also overclocked, experts say it's as performant as a hd 7790, of course some wannabe on gamespot knows it better.

Keep on dreaming if you think the ps4 will still get games on higher resolution. AC unity is on 900p on both systems due to cpu limitations. Ac unity is pretty much 'the benchmark' for next gen games on high end pc systems. So if you're not going to get tech demo's where the cpu isn't used you will have the same resolution as the x1, end of story.

Useless a 7770 doesn't need a 256bit bus which is why neither the 7770 or 7790 have one,the GPU is to weak.

And is not over clocked all the contrary is under clocked so stop inventing crap if you don't know shit don't argue..

XBO GPU clock 853mhz.

7770 GPU clock 1000mhz

7790 GPU clock 1027 mhz

So is not over clock is under clocked the XBO GPU has lower clock speed than the 7770 and 7790.

AC Unity is 900p on both because Ubisoft downgraded the PS4 version to avoid arguments stated by them..hahahaha

Basically the only game the xbox one beat the PS4 the developer admit it self that they fu** it up on purpose,resolution hasshit to do with CPU if you are bottleneck at 1080p witn 100 enemies on screen,because of the CPU you will be at 900p to with those same 100 enemies, you don't reduce CPU consumption by lowering GPU usage dude...

XB1 has Halo 5, Gears of War & Forza / Horizon.

PS4 does not. Yeah, you're right, there is a difference. lol!!

Once DX12 drops next year there will be a difference as well.

DX12 will do shit,and Pes is 720p on xbox one..hahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

You claimed that 720p games were over...hahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Sure, sure, thats why most games are a third lower resolution on the bone amirie?

Well yeah, there's a saying

the past is the past

MAybe you can use that as an argument on the rockstar forums where people are complaning that driving is a lagfest.

With Konami's prized football sim openly declared as a full HD presentation on PS4, it's the Xbox One's meagre 720p delivery that raises eyebrows. Opting for the same Fox Engine set-up as Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes, these resolutions amount to a mammoth difference in image quality for Pro Evolution Soccer 2015.

http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/digitalfoundry-2014-pes-2015-face-off

The past is the past you say.?

How so Pes is 720p on xbox one 1080p on PS4 and has lock 60FPS on both version in gameplay,hell the PS4 has better texture filtering as well..hahaha

This was posted 3 days ago and the game came after unity..hahahaa

GTA5 is also mess up on xbox one frame rate wise and has a truck load less foliage as well...lol

Hahahah you have no argument..lol

@indigenous_euphoria said:

Yep. And lets not forget the Xbox one can off load some of the CPU processing to the cloud....giving it an even grater advantage over the ps4

Sadly most of the process it can offload are that great to begin with,no post process can be offloaded and that mean that it need online connection all the time always to work,which is not always there and can be affected not only from xbox live having problems but also by your connection having problems as well.

@evildead6789 said:

Well you might be good in that eighies and /or statements because you don't have clue how bottlenecking works apparently.

And fyi I'm an engineer as well, so you bs don't work on me. There might be some truth to what your saying, but faster communication isn't going to do nothing when the gpu has to wait for the cpu. There are no custom chips to enhance the cpu speed. They use exactly the same cpu.

Hahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.. sure you are....

Dude you are a moron who used a chart which showed a damn 780GTX been bottleneck by CPU a damn 780GTX you know how many times that GPU is stronger than the XBO or PS4 one.?

Now idiot psot that same benchmark with a 7850 and see what you get,yeah the 7850 will bottle neck GPU wise faster trying to reach 1080p Ultra on BF4 than CPU wise,that is because the CPU is more than enough to keep up with those GPU,is when you pair a strong GPU with a way lesser CPU that you get bottle neck frame wise.

He said he's an engineer? Lol, I missed that. :)
