I have a 19" CRT. I rarely go above 1152*864 because that requires refresh rates of under 100 Hz.

75-85 Hz is annoying, but tolerable. 60 Hz is awful. It isn't as bad with games, though. It's when you have a lot of white space, like in documents and websites, where the refresh rate makes the biggest difference.

I don't see anything wrong with those numbers, but I guess I'm a n00b. What's the problem with them?

I'm sticking with my 19" NEC CRT for now. Seriously, I haven't seen an LCD yet that has a sharper picture.

UAC is one of things that makes you wonder, 'WTF were they thinking?' Seriously, that is the lamest form of 'security' anyone could ever think of.

For people comfortable using a computer, it annoys the hell out of them. For people not familiar with computers, it scares the hell out of them. I seriously doubt that anyone who can figure out how to disable UAC would ever use it.

I hate it because it's a pig. It uses twice as many resources as XP, but offers zero improvement in performance. It isn't compatible with any software or hardware that isn't brand new.

I had to take it off my older computer because it had an All-In-Wonder video card, a Soundblaster Audigy, and a Logitech mouse. It can't capture video orrun TV. It can't playmore than 2 channel stereo. It can't use theextra buttons on the mouse. I couldn't burn DVD's because Nero 6 isn't compatible. Norton Anti-virus required a special download to work. Etc. etc. It's just a hassle for nothing.

Unless you're buying a brand new machine, stick with XP. There is NO reason to "upgrade" tothis cumbersome OS that annoys theshe-yit out of you with constant pop-up confirmation boxes

I looked at the P182/180B, but some have stated they had to remove the upper drive cage to accommodate their video cards.liquid_sleep

I have one of these cases and haven't had to remove anything to fit anything else. My power supply fits fine. My video card fits fine. And there's plenty of room left over.

4. find fsb speed, yours will be 266, type in something like 333

5. set the multiplier or clock ratio to 9xlithuania_pride

Sorry, I'm an oc nub, too. Why do you suggest 333 and 9x multiplier? Would the same apply to my system (specs below)?
