@hangman000 Well, IMO they kinda dumbed down the gameplay in Crysis 2. It was linear and the HUD would basically tell you where to go to employ certain tactics. So no matter the specs, it can still be a dumbed down game, but lets hope not.
I am sure that a GTX 470,480,560ti,570,580,590,660ti,670,and 680 will all do fine at 1080p, but you may have to leave out some settings at like motion blur, bloom, AA etc on a few of those cards.
@Total_mischief @ZOD777 I know what you mean, but there are epic boss battles that are not really live actor friendly if you follow the script somewhat. There will have to be some major special effects other than blood like 300. I am not so sure that it will be any better to watch than Clash of the Titans in the end. 300 didn't take much to pull off.
I know there are lots of gamers and all, but this isn't exactly a Marvel or DC superhero movie. I don't think the box office results will be all that good even if it turns out to be a good movie. I could be wrong, but unless the general non gaming public sees it as a cool sci-fi/mythical or action adventure movie, one would think that the only turn outs will be gamers and young adults (18-35 mostly males). I am not suggesting that the movie will fail only because of this, but I think the odds are already stacked against them IMO.
I would rather see an animated version than a live action adaptation. I am not sure how well live actors and special effects will work for a God of War movie.
@zo70 Trolling pretty hard today aren't you? Calling someone that plays video games a virgin, and posting it on a site where you had to register for, that above all things discusses video games is rather ignorant. Go and give your mom another tugjob **** face. I am sure you are still living in her basement, so at least you save gas money by not having to drive over there for her daily tugjob.
