I'm not even a Star Wars fan, but I'd like to see the lore used to make interesting games that don't have to check all the broad appeal boxes of a AAA release.

I'm getting really tired of these tiny iterations on the same gameplay loop over & over again. It would be nice if they did something completely unique & really used the lore to build gameplay mechanics from the ground up, but that would be hoping for far too much from Ubisoft.
It's good that the boss has finally fronted up, but people care more about action than words.
I managed to get a high end PC together in time for launch & I had a good time with the game, but what they delivered to their customers on console was unacceptable. I'm looking forward to playing the game again after some updates, but they really need to focus on delivering a working product to those console gamers who gave them money, expecting something much different to what they got.
Show just how much "cheating" is done with physics in first person games. Running around with your hands up by your face looks super weird from third person... and it looks super weird in first person too. First person games are dumb.
As you may be able to tell, I much prefer third person games. However, I do understand CD Projekt's statement about first person fitting their vision for the game, even if it doesn't fit my preferences. It would still have been nice for them to have built in some kind of third person mode, so you could see your character & the outfit you're wearing. Gamers like me feel more connected to the character when we can see them. It's actually much more immersive for me to play third person games than to look through a first person lens that is actually pretty different from the way I see the world.
Hopefully either this mod gets a lot better or CDPR builds a third person mode into the game. It's nice to have choices.
This is a pretty lazy article. For a start, it's definitely tailored around a Body/Reflexes build. Secondly, it doesn't even tell you where to get the mods. For instance, the two slot Arm mods are available in the Nomad camp & the Legendary Mantis Arms can be picked up from one of the Cyberpsycho areas.
I picked up the tier 2 Gorilla Arms & slotted in the thermal damage. This made the fist fights viable, even though I only have a 6 in Body. Going back to physical damage is also a good finisher if you want to ensure a non-lethal KO for Cyberpsychos or any other mission that asks for a capture rather than a kill.
If they didn't want to delay further, they should have launched on PC first & consoles later. This is terrible press for CDPR.
I'm really enjoying the game on the high end PC I managed to put together before it launched, but console gamers should never have had to deal with this.
I'm 20+ hours in & loving it. I managed to get my new PC built in time, so I'm running a 5800X & a RTX 3080. Performance is great & the game is beautiful. There are bugs, but nothing too game-breaking for me. I can certainly see some of the game's shortcomings - some of which are easily patched out & some more difficult to solve - but it's still a fantastic game & I can't wait to get back to it.
If you're running a PS4 & you bought this game, I feel genuinely sorry for you. You got a bum deal. Hopefully they can improve things with a few months of patches, but that sucks for you that performance is so bad. If you're one of the people who is upset that this game hasn't redefined gaming, cured cancer & cooked you an omelette, I don't know what to say... maybe you shouldn't have watched 500 hours of YouTube hype videos & set yourself up for disappointment like this.
