@XBones Yes but traditional TV is interlaced which means it's split up into every second line playing alternately. What you get is half a frame every 60th of a second, so basically 30 fps.
Actually NTSC, which you will be using if you're in the States is 29.97 fps because it's based on a sub-carrier on the 110V power supply. PAL which is used in the UK, Australasia & other sensible parts of the world is exactly 25fps due to the 240V power supply.
Sorry GS, more complaints about the new video system.
It says I have to exit fullscreen to change the quality setting (why?), then after I hit escape, no setting pop up at all. I can pause & play but not even go back to fullscreen. Running Firefox on Windows 7.
I hope you can fix these issues soon. The new site is making things a lot more difficult at this point, not better.
@mystic_knight Turn adblock off, that should fix it.
What worries me more is that there is no buffer bar at the bottom of the video. I can usually watch at 720p but sometimes I need to pause for a bit & let the video buffer. The new system gives no visual indication of how much has loaded.
