I don't really get all the hype about old 8-bit music. Maybe it's because I never had a console when I was a kid.
May favourite game soundtrack has got to be San Andreas. The range of music on the radio stations was fantastic (much broader & better than GTA V) & little touches like the country station always being default when you had to leave town & do missions out in the country was great. The FF7 soundtrack was pretty awesome as well, although a little repetitive once you've put a hundred hours or so into the game.
Those look like some pretty beasty machines. With a 450W power supply though, they are definitely upgradeable - not expandable. I wonder what the cooling will be like.
@Merkasaw Welcome to the future of console gaming! (Also known as 4 years ago in PC gaming.)
Unless you really like some console exclusives, it may be wise to wait a while to see what the next gen consoles can do. Games like Infamous: Second Son may sell me a PS4 but we'll see.
@Lpedraja2002 You can still hyperthread with an Intel.
I may be more tempted to look at AMD for my next build though. Mainly because new release games will already be optimised for AMD GPUs for consoles. Games like Hitman Absolution, Sleeping Dogs & Tomb Raider took a while for Nvidia to sort out their drivers
