I watched Dexter in a second monitor while I was playing Crusader Kings 2 or something. I honestly don't even know how many seasons I watched, but it felt like there were too many. Like one of those shows that just keeps going because the crew would rather take a steady pay check than end the series & take the risk of moving on to other projects. If they're coming back to it, I guess that means they have some passion, which is good, but I don't know if I can be bothered figuring out where I was up to so I can catch up.
Shadow & Bone was good. Sweet Tooth was pretty decent too, great if you want to see some NZ scenery masquerading as Yellowstone. Army of the Dead was hot garbage, I think I tapped out after about half an hour.
I put something like 1200 hours into Warframe before I finally got sick of the grind. There's so much depth to the game, it's worth pushing through the difficult learning curve. I might jump back in for a while when this new content drops.
These anti-cheat software clients are awful anyway. They slow down the game & still don't protect them from piracy. This gets proven when the pirates often get better performance. As for cheaters, I don't know how much they really stop. I say let people cheat, but dump them all in a server with each other.
@wolfpup7: Having played games with DLSS 2.0, I'd say that improved performance is a fair statement.
If there was a patch that just tweaked things like LOD distance, particle effects etc. (like most games get leading up to launch) & gave you an extra 10fps, most people would call that improved performance.
@Narxes: Their excuse is that many PC players have old machines, so they generously want to allow them all to pay full AAA price to get a roster update with no actual gameplay improvements. At least that's what they've indicated in the past.
There's really no excuse for this. They make billions of dollars from this franchise & put minimal effort in every year to actually improve the game, even though it's filled with bugs. Other titles launch with both DX11 & DX12 versions, so both PC gamers with older & newer hardware can get the best from their rig.
Personally, I won't be buying this. I'll wait to see what PES has to offer. They already have far better visuals. In FIFA 21, the players all look like they're made from play doh.
I've wanted to play this for a long time, especially now that it's available on PC, but I just don't have the patience for these 100+ hour games anymore.
