@CallMeDuraSouka: Nintendo don't care about the rest of the world. Nothing outside Japan matters.

I am 100% OK with this.

Better than launching with a 30fps lock like some games. *cough* Mafia *cough*

Good to see they've got multi-GPU support as well. I'm going to wait to see how well it actually runs but this might be worth buying at launch.

Why is "confirmed" such a buzz word?

It's not confirmed, it's announced. When we get close to Fall 2017 & it gets delayed, we'll find that it's not confirmed at all. Or if it's not delayed then that announcement will be confirmed.

Uh. I am so triggered.

Hmm... let me know when you have multi-GPU support.

It's a nice looking game but if I can't take advantage of my hardware to make it look as good as possible & run as smoothly as possible, I'm out.

@rabih55555: You might be in the minority there, it was pretty well received.

As long as reviews go into enough detail of why they thought the game was good, then the number shouldn't matter much. I'm not really into first person shooters so I can tell it's not for me but that doesn't mean I think that every game that doesn't fit my personal tastes deserves a low score.

A 3/10 is a pretty harsh score by anyone's standard. If it does everything it promises to do, I don't know why you would give it less than half. Did somebody tell you it was the next Call Of Duty?

This is a bit sad really. It sounds like the studio had big dreams but not quite the talent to pull it off.

Between this & No Man's Sky, do you think we've seen the death of pre-orders? Somehow I doubt it. It still looks like a fun game to me & I'll pick it up if/when they sort out some performance issues on PC but I'm glad I didn't buy into the hype & pre-order this game just for a bit of a discount.

Record only spins at 30rpm. May be patched after release.

It seems like this game needed some more time in the oven. 2K should not have let this one out the door in this state.

There are a lot of reasons why I was really looking forward to this game but the lack of review copies set off alarm bells & I'm glad I didn't pre-order just for the sake of a discount. In addition to the console versions needing some bug fixing, the PC version clearly needs optimisation - the graphics are not exactly ground breaking & performance should be much better. It really needs a texture pack with higher detail, draw distance needs to be improved & multi-GPU configs need to be supported so users can throw some much needed extra horse power at the game.

It sucks because I'm right in the target market for this game. I like open world games, I like dark gritty story telling, I love the soundtrack... this could have been my jam. Unfortunately I'm going to have to treat this game as if it's not out yet. I want to play it when I can actually enjoy it, not in this state.

@noirtenshin: It's more like somebody's serving a nice perfectly cooked steak, covered in cheap ketchup. If a dev makes a bad game, I'm not so concerned. If they make what looks to be a great game but mess up at the final stage, then that disappoints me. I didn't pre-order because of issues exactly like this but I'm really looking forward to playing the game when it's in a playable condition.

The marketing & hype trying to drive sales for this game is all about emotion, so they shouldn't be surprised when that emotional response turns around on them.

I've been in & out of PC gaming over the past 20 years plus as well, more heavily in the past 5 years. Playing Civ II was fine with lower framerates but anything involving action & timing shouldn't be artificially limited. Perhaps "never" is hyperbole but certainly recent history tells us that PC gamers are all about choice. With G-Sync, even running the game at 45fps is a viable option. Devs should know better than to limit people from getting the best performance available to them. I would have been OK with a delayed PC release, this is just silly.
