Sony has been trying to take over the handheld market for years and flopped everytime, the DS price and outstanding game quality was just too much, a game changer is comming, a BIG one no doubt about it, leaks are surfacing everywhere. Now that Nintendo foolishy took a departure from their usual pricing range (WHILE U.S STILL RECOVERS FROM A RECESSION MIGHT I ADD) Wouldn't surprise me if Sony reveals its new handheld at E3 2011 aprox 4 months after the 3DS lanuch and whats this? LOWER COST THEN THE 3DS!!?? Wake up Nintendo...before it's too late I BEG YOU!! D:
Even though missed out on the ps2, the ps3 truly is the most next gen console out of the 3 new consoles (don't get me wrong though, I said the most next gen and not the best next gen). The ps3 is truly ahead of it's time when it comes to features especially with blu-ray which will dominate over dvd and hd dvd. I also think the 60 gb version of the ps3 is a bargain because blu-ray players actually cost over 1 000$ in most electronic outlets. the PlayStation 3 is only 600$. It may be a heavy price to pay but it's best to think about what we are getting. This console has a lot of todays latest technology built into it and for 599$ plus tax !!!! Even though the price to me is worth it, I don't plan on buying it on launch date. The game lineup is a bit disappointing and weather the price is ok or not, it will be hard to purchase one if u don't have a job (like myself). I'd rather wait for mine instead of trying to get one before major fan-boys who are ready, willing and able to camp out in front of a store to get one.
