@Dem0nGam3r @colt_a @Wraith3 Obamacare is a catastrophe? That's why states that have it fully implemented health care costs are already going down. I highly doubt you even know anything about the law but the mandate. You are merely repeating what you heard on Fox News. Good job.

@Redsyrup What people actually want, is a first world country that has more common sense, more political options, and actually protects the people's rights. You know, like almost every country in Europe.

@Lost-to-Apathy @colt_a @Wraith3 Definitely other options. But there were only two realistic ones. Because the US Political System has been rigged that way for over a century.

Freedom of speech and expression. That's what the US is all about guys.

Unless they don't like your speech or expression. Then they will lock you up, keep tabs on your conversations all your life, or simply just tax/criminalize the action they don't like.

People wonder why the rest of the world thinks the United States is a joke. Hint: Because it is.

@Wraith3 While Biden is an idiot, gaming is hardly the biggest issue in the country. I'd rather not have all the poor and old people dead like the Romney/Ryan plan was going for.

I love how all the haters try to cling to 'intellectual superiority'. I know people that are definitely smarter than anyone posting here. I'd bet all the money in my life on it.

They like the game and its ending too. You can not like something. But trying to say its because you are smarter than everyone else shows what you really are, a very average and mediocre person who thinks too highly of themselves. Its sad that people can't just disagree for difference of opinion anymore.

You like it or you don't. Just because you're a minority in disliking it doesn't mean anything other than you don't like games that most people like. Which isn't a crime by any means.

@highlanderjimd This actually makes it harder for indie developers. Don't take Valve's word for it. Previously, an indie developer could submit a compelted game to Valve, sign a deal and its put up. As someone who knows two small indie groups I've seen this system backfire first hand.

Now they have to put up the game on Greenlight before its done, put out demos, answer to the public all their questions, go on a marketing campaign, etc. All of this takes away time spent on the game (remember Indie games are often made by a couple people).

Valve already gets 30% of all the sales, so it literally costs them nothing to just Greenlight all indie games and let gamers sort out what they want...instead they put up a bunch of hurdles because they are Steam, rawr.

@Adenosine Bigger companies like Hammerpoint get to bypass Greenlight. So no-go on that.

Greenlight is a terrible system. Ask any indie developer. Its literally just another hurdle people have to go through because Steam wants the indie devs to go on an advertising campaign for them. Steam already takes 30%, they don't need to dictate what does and doesn't get released based on marketing.
