I agree 100% with the Infinity Ward guy. Its funny that he compared it to a sport, just like Madden games, a new game comes out each year with just slight changes. Even though they spend a lot of time playing, a majority of CoD players would fit into the casual camp, or even somewhere inbetween casual and hardcore. I think Danny O'Dwyer mentioned a theory in one of his videos of 3 types of players; casual, hardcore and something inbetween, I think it was softcore?
Not a fan of free to play. Playing F2P is an exercise in resisting the temptation to buy all the microtransactions, and I won't fall for their dirty tricks!
I definitely prefer the 360 for any online gaming. Parties, party chat, almost everyone has a microphone, the interface is user friendly, and the infrastructure has always been solid for me. Hopefully Sony learns how to make their online experience better with PS4.
This was a hilarious episode, even though the tentacle bat wasn't that interesting. It just writhes, it doesn't do anything special when you hit people with it.
Last of Us was an amazing game but I was surprised to see it in the finals with Skyrim. I think it was just riding on the success of its recent release. Skyrim definitely got the win it deserved, though.
