I'll still play this, but one thing that bugs me about DLC is that there is no new dialogue for your companions, and it seems like its pretty much just Shepard and Steve in this one.

Wow, that was a pretty good debate. Both Tom and Greg had good points. I think Tom's argument is more valid, but Greg was the better debater. Sorry, Tom. :(

not enough differences to make any one version better than the others, which is nice. guess it all comes down to your platform of preference

Women are a minority in the gaming industry, but they aren't nonexistent. Hell, wasn't Jade Raymond the lead for the Assassin's Creed games? I've also seen other women in art and design roles. I think women have been establishing a foothold in the industry over the last few years. I think RPGs and MMOs have become a good common ground for male and female players since gameplay is story focused or socially driven. I've seen more prominent female characters in traditionally male-targetted games, such as shooters, and I've also seen more female gamers playing these games in the last couple of years, not that the two are causally linked...but I think that it shows that the industry has been moving in a better direction. I went to school for game design and I even made a design doc for a game that featured a female as the protagonist and made a mock-up 3D model for her, and she wasn't sexuallized or anything. I would like to think that we are entering a time when more designers are designing for a broader audience then years past when it has been more male dominated.
