@cantor2537 I have hinted this could have been lobbied by publishers. Not saying it is true but it isn't beyond the realm of possibility. It isn't the 1st time EA pulled support from a company (Sega with the Dreamcast). Like i said, if it is true, this benefits pubs and devs more than Sony or MS, if it is true, I can see this being how it is.

@VegasDawg @ggregd it is a rumor, but the fact that the issue was brought up and they are holding out on the answer doesn't make people have a good impression. I dunno what they will do, but if it's causing this much chaos within the consumers, maybe they should rethink whatever idea they have if it is leaning towards this

This is more confusing than it needs to be. Look, I like the Xbox, but if something is casuing this much chaos, maybe it isn't a good idea

@Salta06 Nope, I mean entertainment system, that's what it is, that's what the PS4 is, that's what the WIi U is. Just it being a gaming system is obsolete, kinda like a phone that just calls. Let's be real, how would the dreamcast fair against the PS2 if it didn't have a DVD player? What if the original Xbox didn't have a DVD component or an Ethernet port for the online gaming? WHy was the Original Nintendo called Nintendo Entertainment System?? It was never meant to just play video games, they always had vision for them to be more, just look at all the peripherals they have all put out for the consoles over the years.They will push and push and if it fails, it just means it didn't work at that time, like 3D movies, they have been around for a long time, it failed in the 90's and they are pushing for it again.

I'm sure they all are targeting the mainstream market, the diff is Sony reserved some space in their press for games, where MS had a reveal on the console and what it does. It is obvious it plays games, but they wanted to talk about all the features it has, nothing wrong with that. Therei s a reason they are attending Gamescon and it is not to show off their NFL deal
