@ry0uz But you know what, technology is moving towards it. Look at how some phones are being designed without an SD card. When people get mad they use the Cloud excuse as a way to say we are past SD cards as they are old tech
@Hadif151 @gamerboy100 well to lose in sales and to simply suck are two different things. I could make the argument that Xbox Live really set the pace for how online gaming is today, plus it was the new kid on the block, PS2 had a lot going for it. I wouldn't count the 1stbox because it had a lot of ground to cover, the 360 solidified MS as a legit console contender. now the Xone is up in the air of how it would do, but if is like we are seeing, then you would definitely make a strong observation here. I would count this like 95 98 ME. 95 and 98 were pretty good at its time ( I suppose, i was in Kindergarten when 95 came out and 98 seemed good from my experience).
@gamerboy100 @GSGuy321 I doubt it will crash. With the capabilities our devices have now, they haven't pigeon holed themselves as they were decades ago. The worse that would happen is that we could possibly see shutdowns of our favorite studios, but the rise of indie developers will keep it thriving
@j15reed People feel that they should just put in their game and play it, and they feel that they can't trade or borrow games with this going on. I for one, don't really borrow games and lend my games out, so it isn't as much of a factor to me. Plus, the PC has Steam which (if the update to this article is true) will be what MS is emulating here.
