GAH!! I just wanted to let you all know that all the OTcars votes have been counted and will be handed to the hosts on monday afternoon..or maybe tomorrow afternoon.. I haven't decided yet hehe (I just thought of this right now at 2:06am local time.. sheesh)

So about my run in with the law... you have to wait until monday to hear the details of my self-ownage and the realization of my worst fears *looks at car and runs away screaming in horror* :cry:

So today I was lurking around OT in the a.m. and here comes sour, angry, I hate the word forumite [edited] and makes a thread about the 10 things a woman should do to gain his respect ( the usual clean, cook, stfu crap) but then he mentions he has been in only 9 relationships.. 9!! BWAHAHAHA!!
*holds fingers in the shape of an L in front of face* :lol:

Then of course some little trolls who lack imagination followed suit and made like 10 other threads to bash on females. *sigh* ... aparently none of them have mothers who took care of them when they were blabbing, drooling infants.

IMO, there are as many greedy, mean, cruel or frivolous women as there are man.. heck we do not live in a perfect world of little rainbows and pretty butterflies.. and that is all I have to say about that.

Once again the weather decides to act up.. for the past 2 weeks I've been complaining about excessively high temperatures.. and what does mother nature does to make me stfu.. send a blast of cold weather to teach me a lesson ARGH!!

Every time Maggie touches me with her cold nose I jump grr....also I am using the oven more than usual to help keep the apartment nice and cozy and on the plus side I have a lot of baked goodies to snack on hehe. I hate to cook on hot days but there is something about cold & windy days like this that make me want to lock myself in the kitchen and just go silly.. too bad Andy decided to go for the "light" everything on his diet.. oh well.. his loss *attacks chocolate cake* YUM!!

In other news.. I am cold.. oh wait... I counted the votes I got today for the OTcars so we are still on schedule YAY!

So the voting thread was open today and so far a good number of forumites have already pm'ed their ballots (some incomplete..some voting for themselves..some with stuff missing) BUT for the most part people got the idea of how to vote and are making the counting process a breeze.

I was really surprised to see the same people nominated for several categories.. I mean.. OT has such a large amount of forumites that are well known but yet , were forgotten when nomination time came around. Oh well, maybe next time.

The voting runs until saturday so I'll take my time counting votes.. most of them I counted already and I am not surprised with some of the preliminary results. One or two made me smile actually...

Well.. I'll post regular updates here as they occur....:)

First you get a bit of airline humor:

During a particularly rough flight, the airliner pilot addresses his passengers: "The turbulence we passed through was rough, but we have passed that now. The rest of the flight is expected to be smooth." The pilot was unaware that his PA switch was stuck on, and leaned over to the co-pilot and said "Boy, was that rough! What I need now is a hot woman and a cold beer."

A flight attendant in the rear of the aircraft heard this, and ran forward to warn the pilot. As she neared the cockpit, an elderly woman passenger stopped her saying "Don't forget the beer!"

In other news.. my journal has a new name and a new banner YAY! ....and Andy is back in town so finally we can go get my car this week YAY!.....I would have gone myself BUT I have to wait 30 days to get my driver's licence *sigh* stupid bureaucracy..seems like every document here needs to go through a million people before it gets to you. ARGH!....Oh yeah.. the weather is nice and cold today for a change YAY!

I am fighting the temptation to buy a PSP.. and its not being easy. :? not really for the games 'cause I am not a handheld person but because I am a movie freak.. and being able to watch a movie anywhere without having to drag along the laptop sounds just too good to pass up.
