Sleepless nights, a new bike & the usual blabbing

Before I begin I must say something: GS FIX YOUR %$#@! SERVERS SO I DONT HAVE TO RE-WRITE MY JOURNAL 20 TIMES!! With that said lets get started...

It's 5am in the morning (local time) and once again I cant sleep. I really don't know why because I am not worried about anything but I just can't freaking sleep!! *curses* at this rate GS better give me the insomniac emblem soon.

Anyways, I went down to a Yamaha dealership yesterday to look at some bikes and I tried out some of the big ones just for fun but holy crap those things are heavy as hell, there is no way I can drive those monsters without ending up as a pancake against the nearest moving car or wall lol. So I decided to get this one:

It's a little over the price I had in mind but still cheaper than buying a car and paying super high prices to fill up the tank. (Even with the insane 17% sales tax still cheaper than a car) You would think that gas prices in Brazil are cheap but actually gas here is very expensive.

So yes, later today I am going downtown to get some documents I need and then I'm getting my bike yay! I am actually getting the same color as the one in the picture, unless I change my mind at the last minute but then I'm gonna have to wait 10 days for the bike to get here.

I'm gonna put Maggie (read entry below) inside a pooch backpack and run into the sunset... or rush hour traffic.. whatever comes first hehe.

No Maggie..down girl.. aaaargh!! %$#@!!

Don't be fooled by the angelical face and the small size.. this little creature might be small and actually being a toy breed will stay small.. this pooch ladies and gentleman has the personality of a freaking pitbull. She is a lean, mean, hand biting, barking, I need attention now machine.

Here I am getting ready to watch a movie.. popcorn in one hand & a glassfull of coke in the other. I sit on the floor in front of the TV and then out of nowhere she comes running and jumps on me and needless to say everything I was holding flew in all directions. well, after cleaning up the mess I return to the movie. Well, for some reason I got this crazy idea that I want to buy a motorcycle so I decide to watch Torque for inspiration (yeah I know, I could have watched something better but oh well) So after laughing at the bad jokes, cheesy dialog and impossible stunts I decide to watch the news...bad idea. The best way to go from happy to sad or angry is to watch the darn news.

Anyway, I was gonna talk about some controversial topics here such as the italians hating the U.S after the "incident" but I am sure they already killed the subject on the off-topic board..besides I've had it with political or religious threads..I refuse to get suspended again for speaking my mind damn it!!

Oh.. before I forget I am offering a reward of one family size cookie to anybody who can give me information to the whereabouts of the little punk who reported my last signature. I bet is was Dahv.. rofl.. you can run but you can't hide!!

And of course I am kidding about that (or am I??)

YAY! my very first entry.. today honoring the 80's :)

Well, after walking around in circles for a while I finally decided to put this journal to some good (?) use. So to mark this memorable occasion I am dedicating my very first entry to my favorite decade.... the 80's

Here's a list I found online... somewhere. The list is actually longer but these are the things I can actually remember..did myself or wore at some point.

You are an 80's child if:

  • You wanted to be on Star Search. (Didn't we all?)
  • You can remember what Michael Jackson looked like before his nose fell off. Or even when he had those freaky eyes in "Thriller" at the end of the video.
  • You wore a banana clip or one of those slap on wrist bands at some point during your youth.
  • You knew what Willis was "talkin' 'bout."
  • You know the profound meaning of "Wax on, Wax off."
  • You can name at least half of the members of the elite "Brat Pack."
  • You can remember watching Full House and Saved by the Bell for endless hours.
  • You know that another name for a keyboard is a "Synthesizer."
  • You'll always hold a special place in your heart for "Back to the Future."
  • You know where to go if you "wanna go where everybody knows your name."
  • You thought Molly Ringwald was REALLY cool. (Was there an 80's movie she WASN'T in?)
  • You fell victim to 80's fashion: big hair, crimped, combed over to the side, and you wore spandex pants.
  • You wanted to be a Goonie ("Goonies never say die.")
  • You knew "The Artist" when he was humbly called "Prince."
  • You ever wore fluorescent—neon if you will—clothing...
  • You could breakdance, or wished you could.
  • You know, by heart, the words to any "Weird" Al Yankovic song.
  • You remember when ATARI was a state-of-the-art video gaming system.
  • You own any cassettes or albums.
  • You were led to believe that in the year 2000 we'd all be living on the moon.
  • "Poltergeist" totally freaked you out.
  • You carried your lunch to school in a Gremlins or an ET lunchbox.
  • You have ever pondered why Smurfette was the ONLY female smurf.
  • You wanted to communicate with Synergy, or you wanted green hair like that lead singer of the Misfits.
  • You inserted the word "like" into, like, every sentence.
  • You ever had a Swatch Watch.
  • You actually spent countless hours trying to perfect the care-bear stare.
  • You had a crush on one of the Coreys (Haim or Feldman).
  • You remember when Saturday Night Live was funny.
  • You had Wonder Woman or Superman Underoos.
  • You actually thought "Dirty Dancing" was a REALLY good movie.
  • You have heard of "Garbage Pail Kids" (and perhaps still have a collection of them).
  • Songs by Debbie Gibson still haunt you to this day.
  • 3 words: "Atari" "IntelliVision" and "Coleco". Sound familiar?
  • You ever owned a pair of "Pop-Wheels"—that handy little combination of shoe and roller skate that lasted about a year on the open market.
  • Schoolhouse Rock played a HUGE part in how you actually learned the English language.
  • You ever dressed to emulate a person you saw in either a Duran Duran, Madonna, or Cyndi Lauper video.
  • You've gotten this far on the list and aren't totally confused.
  • You thought eating Reese's Pieces would attract your own Alien.
  • You have ever called 867-5309.
  • You had a poster of Rob Lowe, Kirk Cameron, or Michael J. Fox on your wall.
  • You held the top score on Pac-Man
  • You owned a t-shirt that said, "I shot J.R." or know someone who did.
  • You owned a Jordache anything, or you remember when Jordache jeans were cool.
  • You remember when Madonna was just hitting the scene.
  • You thought "Weird Science" was a masterpiece.
  • Chevy Chase was really funny in those vacation movies.
  • You actually know who Rick Springfield is
  • You remember when film critics raved that no movie could ever possibly get better special effects than those in the movie TRON.
  • You jammed to the Miami Vice theme and thought Jan Hammer was cool.

So there you have it.. weren't the 80's wonderful ??
