@spiddyman007: but a 8GB RX 480 is cheaper in most places as of right now and it is more powerful. so it would be dumb to choose the 390X if buying.

8GB R9 390X = 1050-1110MHz core / 6000MHz memory, $300-450(depending on the version)

8GB RX 480 = 1250-1330MHz core / 8000MHz memory, $240-300(depending on the version)

if the combat was more precise i could have gotten into this game. but swinging twice and the enemy being totally off target and out of range with no way to correct my direction while swinging/blocking ruins it.

@bigrob007: at ~30 hours i had already learned every multi-tool blueprint upgrade. most exo-suit upgrades. and a large majority of ship upgrades. maybe every 4-5 hours i get a new suit or ship one now.

most of these past level 3 i haven't even run across the items needed to create them.

@CatAtomic999: when did hello games state this was a perfect game that would offer infinit hours of action, shooting, role-playing, puzzles, any game genre you can imagine all packed into the best graphics ever available?

all i ever saw in the many many articles and previews was that there were millions, if not billions, of worlds to explore and space flight with upgradeable ships and gear. plus the option to play online where more than likely you would never come across another player due to the vastness.

@xantufrog @Slappy54: 3 of the 8-9 planets i've landed on have had rather large dinosaur creatures. some bipedal, some on all fours, some like brontosaurus with wings on their head. and many of those also had little mammal-type things running around and gigantic butterflies and pterodactyls flying. have not found a barren planet yet.

@bonzaibillie_99: same thing i've said about 99% of the shooters and other cheesy shit that's come out over the past 15 years. this game i actually enjoy.

@Karmazyn: because that's more realistic and more exciting exploration right? you just call your car along when you go for a walk?

@Karmazyn: any planet that has trade posts and/or colonial outposts has landing pads and the terminals to call your ship. that's every single planet i've visited out of the 8-9 so far.

@otterbee: with seventy-eight storage slots(48 suit/30 ship) it's rather easy to hold what you need. you just have to sell off, use or drop everything that doesn't pertain to that particular item being crafted. i have even salvaged some of my suit/ship add-ons to make a couple spaces more than once. those +1 & +2 add-ons are easy to replace again afterwards. becomes rather frustrating to those that want to hold on to everything though.

@nkolvek: new found multi-tools should increase by 2 slots as you progress. i'm at 22 now and am still seeing 24s in all the settlement tool storage slots. not sure where they cap out, largest i've seen mentioned were in the 30s.
