PixelJunk Monsters/Eden, Super StarDust HD, SHatter, Castle Crashers, Costume Quest, COD ClassicExoticAnimal

Alot of what you mentioned are my favs to.

Pixeljunk monsters, SSDHD, Costume Quest.

I would also like to add pacman championship edition - and my favourite one of all, LUMINES supernova! Good stuff.

My favourite download-only title ever is World of Goo, but it's not on PSN. Great artistic direction, music, and gameplay. And memorable to boot. Couldn't have asked for something better.

You guys really don't have to be ignorant about it. I know it's the internet, but do you think that you could respond to someones posts without being an a** all the time. I was just asking a legitimate question.

ARE YOU ****ING SERIOUS?!

As a straight person, this was uncalled for. Believe it or not, there are ppl out there with different sexual preferences, and just b/c the entire population doesnt see this as the "norm" doesn't mean it's out of the ordinary. Expand your knowledge buddy, it'll help you not burn down bridges in the future.

Yes, it's different. Very different in fact.

I found the story very bad, the first 70% of the game felt like a filler and the rest was meh at best. That being said, it's probably the only bad part of the game.

The customization was sweet, you can change the appearance of every character and you can add and remove parts for each weapon. Customizing the weapons was my favorite part of the game, you get a weight limit and depending on it you add parts that increase damage, ammo, accuracy, etc.

Leveling was weird, but easy to understand. The more you use a weapon the higher your level with that weapon gets. There are 3 weapons in total, and I believe the max level for each one is 100.

Now gameplay is where it gets tricky. I finished the game and I still couldn't fully understand how I should have played it. Until 10 hours into the game in fact I did not understand a damn thing about it. It's strategic, weird and difficult. It'll take time to understand and even then, it's just not easy.

As for towns, there are few of them with nice shops and side quests.

This. You'll only get a feel of how you're suppose to play the game when the difficulty actually ramps up (or, in my case, when I decided to do the extra OPTIONAL hard dungeon in the end) b/c in that way you're almost forced to use Guard breaks and the 2 types of damage (i forgot all the terms already, as you can see).

Reference? I platinumed the game.

Love it. Slick main menu, polished hd graphics, and prompt loading. Plus trophy support. Working my way thru Peace walker right now, a great game if you haven't played it before. HOWEVER, if you've played each game already, it might not be worth it. It's worth it for me b/c I haven't played peace walker and I really wanted to play MGS2 again. Mgs2's tanker level is one of the best showcases in gaming, and it still stands today - the gameplay is great

The first one for me. I just love the platforming.

SOedipus

Ditto. Although the 3rd one was the most fun, the 1st one won me over with its bright artstyle and focusing on what matters most - the PLATFORMING

Kinda surprised no one has mentioned Rapture from BioShock yet, that is by far the most immersive, atmospheric and one of the most beautiful yet disturbing places that have ever been in a video game.anime_gamer007

Totally forgot about bioshock! you're absolutely right. THIS is one of the most imaginative worlds, next to WoW and the Elder scroll series. I hate to do it, but I would add World of Goo, too. People don't realize it, but it's a phenomenal game with very play-turned-dark kind of world. Check it out

It's a toss up between FFXI Online, WoW and the Elder Scrolls series.

So much history and content in these worlds, its hard to keep track.

KamuiFei

These, save for FF11, because I haven't played it. But definitely WoW and the ES series have GREAT worlds, and sidequests that only enrich them.

Jak & Daxter is great in all, but Ratchet N Clank is better.AmazonTreeBoa

I agree, and I would like to add support for the above statement:

Ratchet and clank has better, addictive gunplay, and has better platforming - in general, the sereis is much more FUN than jak, although both are still excellent platformers.

Besides the first R&C, the games have added RPG elements - that is, you level up your health AND your guns, which turns out to be a VERY addictive process. The guns feel phenomenal as well, with a real bang to them, and each one unique. There's also lock-on and strafing in RC. Although this seems like a minor gameplay addition, keep in mind that all the jak games don't have strafing OR lock-on, which makes the gunplay very awkward (people hate to admit it, but it's true - you'll see once you start playing it - it will cause you many unneeded deaths, especially when adding a lock-on feature would have eliminated this inevitable frustration).

Also, the RC series has more of a focus on platforming than jak does - especially when you consider how much VEHICLE missions there are in both jak 2 and 3. In other words, I would say, without a doubt, that in this case, the jak series lost its focus on what really matters - the platforming. The platforming in RC is EASIER than in jak, but at the same time also feels better, if it's b/c of the smooth controls and level design, or just because it kept things simple. Jak series has you jumping from platform to platform, but in the end the jumping just doesn't feel right. Jak drops too fast, and you can only double jump when you're around full jump height, which is an odd restriction.

HOWEVER, the jak has better voice overs and story/cutscenes. The dialogue is fantastic as well, and each line is delivered in a professional manner.

I would say, in terms of fun, it's RC all the way. Both have great humour, but RC just has gameplay that's more fun. Jak has a better story, which in the end makes its characters more memorable.

Love the game. The only people who hate it are:

1) people who dont like having a COD every single year. For me, I love the cod formula, but I HATE the Treyarch games. They are terrible, and don't tell me they aren't, cuz they simply ARE. So, in reality, the REAL cod comes out every other year, not every year.

2) people who suck at it.

3) people who simply don't like shooters
