Not Feeling Summer

Ahhh, 7 days left. The temps are goin down in the record highs, staying in the high 80s-low 90s. Everybody is wearing shorts and summer clothes. Memorial Day has just passed...........and yet, even though all this is happening, I STILL don't feel as if school is ending in 7 days. THAT is sad. Especially if you are goin through the same sh*t as you do on normal school days. And its worse, too. Teachers are cramming projects, loads of exam review, last minute homework, etc. I f*ckin hate it. I really do.

Ok, this past weekend, I finally finished that video project with my group. It was pretty fun, especially since it was in the friggin 90s that day:roll: . Now all I have to do is my damn bio project, which is as I stated before, not very fun. Let's see, I also went up to my grandma's, which was alright. Oh, and on Friday, I went to this disturbing birthday party I was invited to by this girl. Let's just say it was emolicious. And weird. Very, weird. And, on Thursday, I experienced some severe storms that hit. Thought there was going to be a tornado, since we had watches, but luckily, we didnt.

Ok, now that I told you all what went down this past weekend, time to wrap it up with a couple more movie reviews:

Saving Private Ryan--8.5/10 (only seen bits and pieces of it)
Die Hard--7.5/10
Fargo--7.5/10
The Pink Panther (original)--2/10 (didnt even finish it, not really into old movies 1970 and older much)

9 Days Left.........

Yup, only 9 more days of school left................and it still feels like I'm in March. I swear, I don't feel that "end of school" feeling that you get on the last few days. Well, I guess that's because I'm getting crammed with schoolwork out the ying yang. And instead of just coping with my ADI video project, which I can handle because it's ACTUALLY FUN, we have a tedious, sh*tty biology project to do. And no it isnt a cool video. It's actually WRITING a lot of crap. Fun:roll: .

Welp, enough of my usual whining. Let's see here......ah, yes. American Idol (yes I actually watch it, so plz don't flame me too much). How about that finale last night? I'm glad Taylor Hicks won, though. It's nice to see the very first white male to win that thing, since the only man who has won it so far is Ruban Studdard. Oh, and while advertisements were on, I caught a glimpse of a preview of the return of one of my favorite shows of last year: Hell's Kitchen. Hellz yeah, it's comin back. And I'm highly anticipated to see it, too. Yup, it was a good night for watching Fox last night.

Oh, and I finally got my car back from my dad. Unfortunately, my group in ADI wont be recording again until Sunday because today and tomorrow it is supposed to rain (even though the sun is shining bright right now:? )and I'm going to my grandma's on Saturday, so yeah. Sunday it is.

That's enough gabbing for now. Maybe this weekend I'll even have a couple more movie reviews for you guys. Havent received any new ones in the mail yet, though. Alright, lata all.

Video Project

Finally. Yesturday, after school, we started on that damn project. And guess what? I haven't had this much fun in a LOOONG time. Ok, it is a video project we are doing in our ADI (American Democratic Institution, kind of a civics class) class, and we got to choose our topics. And guess what we chose? Immigration. And guess who played the illegal immigrant? Yours truly:oops: . It was a blast too, on the count of we are making it a comedy. A very VERY good change from my typical "go to school, come home, play on the computer, watch American Idol" weekday. But we've only done one scene so far, and we've got about 3 more to do. But that's good, because the more we get to work on this, the better. In fact, I get to go later on today again. The bad thing, though, is that I have to drive my mom's stupid mini van instead of my car because my dad is borrowing my car right now:evil:

Another free MMORPG?

Welp, I talked to my friend today about our video project that we were supposed to do on Sunday. And yes, he gave me a bunch of bullshlt. He proceeded to tell me that the people in the group were supposed to CALL HIM. He also told me that he gave me his phone number before. That was a lie. The kid could've called ME since I gave him MY number, but I guess the kid didnt realize that. So, I made him give me his number AND draw out a map to his house, and we're supposed to meet after school on Wednesday. Sounds good, but only one problem. How the hell am I gonna get over there if my dad is borrowing my car for right now, and he isnt home by that time?

Anyways, you're pry wondering about the topic title. Yes, I am actually getting bored of Maple Story. So I found this other MMORPG called Dofus. This one has more of a tactical feel to it, which is a breath of fresh air. I didnt get into it too much yet, but I hope I start to get used to it and have fun with it.

Plans Foiled

Welp, it is Sunday. And it is 4:30 PM. Still, no phone call or anything whatsoever about meeting up for that video project we were supposed to do today. Now we only have one weekend left: Memorial Day weekend. And I'm going to my grandmas on Saturday, so how this is going to work, I have no idea. It's pissin me off. My friend shouldve called by at the most 2:00. *sigh* School is a fvcking bltch.

Anyways, I'll end this sucker with new movie reviews. Enjoy.

Dog Day Afternoon--8/10
Boys Don't Cry--9.5/10
Platoon--8.5/10
Igby Goes Down--3/10

I Reckon The Weekend is Here Again, Mmmhmm

*whew* Man, this week was dreary. Full of rainy weather, tedious schoolwork, a retarded senior goodbye assembly on Thursday, and hell, I became so bored at home that I decided to watch Sling Blade...........again (I bought it on DVD this past weekend btw). I gotta admit, though, it IS one of my favorite movies. But now that the weekend is here, I get to play video games, watch new movies, and, something that will be very different from what usually exists on my weekends: working on a video project at my friend's house. *gasp* I'm actually going to hang out with friends for once. Shows how much of a lazy ass I am.

Oh, and I watched a couple more movies on Sunday I forgot to post on here. Here they are:

Elephant--8/10
The Family Stone--8/10

Welp, enjoy your weekend everyone:D!

Again......................More Movies

Yay. Now that E3 is over, we can go back to our pathetic, mediocre lives. Nah, I'm just playin. Not everybody's lives are pathetic and mediocre. But anyways, this year was big, as far as E3 went. I mean, Super Smash Bros. Brawl (with Solid Snake:D ), a trio of Final Fantasy XIII games, a Resident Evil game announced for the Wii, more coverage on the Zelda games, boy I think Nintendo took the cake this year.

Now, back to reality. MORE MOVIE SCORES!!!!! Yippie. Probably the reason why I never get comments anymore, too, but oh well. Guess what? I have two 10s this time. Yes, TWO. Maybe that will catch everyone's attention. Welp, here's the movies:

American History X--10/10
Texas Chainsaw Massacre (the original)--7.5/10
Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children--7.5/10
End Game--6/10
Taxi Driver--10/10

Biggest Surprise to Consume All E3s

Wow.  After hearing about the FFXIIIs, the games announced for the Wii and its functions, and some new info on the new Zelda games coming out, I thought that would be the most out of this E3. Boy oh boy, did I miscalculate. Who would've thought that Nintendo was going to surprise everybody with Super Smash Bros. Brawl? I sure as hell didn't. And that was just the start of the surprise. Now, I had never played Kid Icarus or very many Kirby games, so the inclusion of Pit and Meta Knight didn't matter the most to me, but man, a Twilight Princess styled Link? An appearance by Nintendogs? The very mischievious Wario? SAMUS WITHOUT HER SUIT????!!!! At that point while watching the trailer, I was about to have a heart attack. Then the news to consume all news occured. Solid Snake himself was going to be in the game. I almost died in excitement. But how could that be possible if the only well known MGS game on a Nintendo consule was Twin Snakes? Very puzzling, yet, very pleasing. After hearing that, that automatically became the biggest surprise I had ever heard at any E3. Who knows, if Solid Snake is on there, could Sonic or Tails be secret characters? Only time will tell.......

The Surprises of E3

Day 2 of E3 coverage. Man, is this my favorite time of year. And the surprises and new information keeps coming. I mean, I certainly wasn't expecting a Final Fantasy XIII this early, but a compilation of 3 FFXIII games? Wowzerous. Also, there was all those announced games for the Wii, making that my most anticipated next-gen system. And my eye brow is raising a little more for the Xbox 360, with all those recently announced games, such as Fable 2 and *gasp* GTA4???? Man the adrenaline is just a pumpin. The only system I'm not feeling very well is the PS3 for some reason. I mean, the high price, not many appealing games to me (besides MGS4 and FF13), and it just feels like a copycat by selling 2 different bundles (ala Xbox 360) and what I've been seeing on the controller (ala Wii). Oh, and I wonder where Def Jam 3 and RE5 are. Well, still have the rest of the week, so who knows.............

Anyways, let me steer away from the E3 bliss a moment and tell you all about my weekend. First of all, I got a blood test to see if I have diabetes or any other diseases, and to check my cholesterol, so that was fun. Also, I got surprised when my mom bought me a sweet new Timex watch, since I've had this old digital watch that looked like something a kid would wear, and it was starting to malfunction, so I got a nice, stainless steel watch..........and it wasn't digital either:P .

Oh, and I watched movies of course. Since nobody is giving me any f*ckin feedback, I'll just give the score of the movie I watched. SO THERE:

Memento--9.5/10
Jackie Brown--8.5/10
2010:The Year We Made Contact--1.5/10 (fell asleep)
The Thin Red Line--5/10 (didnt even finish watching it)
The House of Sand and Fog--8/10

E3 Approaching!

I love this time of year. Even though I like winter time WAY better than spring, there IS one thing I like about spring........well, make that 2 things: yearbooks, and E3. E3 is approaching faster than a flopped game-based movie is. And I'm glad it is, of course. The games I'm most looking forward to HAVE to be any Zelda games, Final Fantasy III (looking at the first few screenshots, it reminds me of FF7, which is one of my fav games of all time), Final Fantasy XII, and hopefully, there is some new info on the next Def Jam game (and I'm not talking about the stupid PSP port, either).

Oh, and WTF? Nobody has given me feedback on how to do movie reviews. Cmon people, tell me. Well, hopefully after the weekend is over, I'll get some answers. Until then, have a flawless weekend everybody.
