@codeman101360 ....except for EVERYTHING you buy on it....
Because of Playstation Plus I own copies of Super Street Fighter IV, Vanquish, Far Cry 2, Uncharted: Golden Abyss, Wipeout 2048, Gravity Rush, Outland, Just Cause 2, Infamous 2, Little Big Planet 2 and about 30 other FULL games that I didn't spend a penny over the price of my subscription for.
Here's hoping Ubisoft fixes the gun combat- if muskets are still being carried by everyone in the game (as was the case in 3), make sure to balance out the "enemies standing around, waiting to die" effect of having a bunch of armed men deciding not to fire their loaded guns.
The one thing that truly bothers me about a game having perma-death, be it for the main player character or for ally characters is when the game messes up and results in a death that is not the players fault. If a game has perma-death, that's fine, but they better make sure it is tested like crazy, so your "emotional impact" doesn't come as the result of a camera glitch or a clipping issue.
@Azure_Nova @bigbowen1559 super metroid, perfect dark, beyond good and evil, portal 2, bayonetta and apparently the new tomb raider are all great games that are not made any less so by having a female protagonist
@Charliesix you sir, do not speak for the Killzone fan community. The multiplayer is great, but the AI and action in the PS3 Killzone games DEFINITELY makes the single player worthwhile. I'd argue as much so as a Halo game. If you want a series that totally shafts single player campaigns in favour of multiplayer - it's a good thing you're a Battlefield fan.
"I am Error" is also referenced in Metal Gear Solid 2, when the GW projection of Campbell starts to malfunction. I think it was also sort of a throwback to "I feel asleep" and "the truck have started to move!" from the NES Metal Gear. Could the malfunctioning Patriots AI posing as Big Boss have been responsible for sending Snake against Big Boss during the Outer Heaven mission of 1989?
These features are a bit useless without commentary- the video compression makes it hard to gauge between the two console versions accurately. Why do you only sometimes put commentary on the comparisons Gamespot?
