I really think Force Unleashed 2 was the stupidest idea Lucas Arts has ever had. The original Force Unleashed had its issues, but its story was better than all three prequels combined and it ended up being a really memorable experience. Instead of cultivating a lot of feedback and taking a good 3-4 years making a truly worthy sequel with a new story, they rush out an unimpressive sequel that reuses Starkiller, nullifying the awesome ending(s) of the original game's impact with some crap about a clone and packing it with about 3 hours of gameplay.
Well done Shaun, I can't think of a single thing I disagree with. And kudos for going with Drebin Points- a fundamental gameplay element that did, as you suggested, alter player strategy - over the rallying cry of the ADD-laden MGS player "the cutscenes are too long"; can't tell you how sick I am of hearing that. No one ever complains about the novel-length amount of text you have to sift through in FFVII, but those same people can't seem to approach each act of MGS4 as if they are interactive movies that last roughly 2.5 hours each. I have one question though- why no suggestions from Peacewalker? I think its mix of narrative driven story missions and drop-in-and-play bonus missions would be really cool for MGS5; particularly if there is a meta-game fueled by the bonus missions like Peacewalker had. Though if I were to ditch one thing, it would be way the meta game battles play out. While at times they were tense when you sent in underpowered units that miraculously prevailed, I thought they could've been a little more eye-catching than they were.
@razorkaos Th 4Gb is really just for families who want to play kinect games. The only reason people who play adult games should purchase a 4gb, is if they want a second xbox in the house that they can move their HDD between, or if their xbox malfunctions out-of-warranty and you have to buy a replacement. I'm not saying this to rag on you, I seriously think that if you bought an HDD for you xbox, the possibilities of what your console can do will really open up. Downloading demos alone is a HUGE plus that can save you money buy letting you try games that you would've otherwise blind-bought.
I hope the extra characters are in the soft version - I don't do game cards. I have Uncharted on game card because it came with my Vita, but I'd prefer if that remained the sole occupant of my game card slot.
