can i play dream fall without playing the first one?

GazaAli

I didnt play the first game and I still enjoyed the story. Mind you I hated the gameplay.

Edit: To answer your second question its more or less a standard 3rd person adventure game where you move around conversing with people, among solving (insultingly easy) puzzles.

[QUOTE="pilouuuu2004"][QUOTE="kieranb2000"][QUOTE="hama666"] Fontaine would override it.

This. Fontaine had more things built into the main character than just "Would You Kindly."

Wow! I also was puzzles for this, It didn't make sense to me! But now it makes sense, thanks. And anyway Andrew Ryan could have used those resucitation pods, couldn't he? We'll have to wait for Bioshock 2 to find out if he did.

I think you're now reading too much into it :P, as far as im concerned the resuscitation pods only exist to keep it as a video game - i.e you can carry on playing once you die. We'll see what happens storywise in the sequel, im pretty sure some familiar names will sneak back in though.

Dont do it! Its the summer, go out and have fun instead of getting sucked into that pixelated nightmare! Practically everyone I know has more or less regretted playing WoW once they've given it up, and that includes me.

[QUOTE="zaibutzu"][QUOTE="kieranb2000"]At any moment Fontaine could have ordered you to kill Andrew Ryan, so working with him was impossible. Ryan probably ordered you to kill him either to a) Give you a chance to fight back, to try and gain control of yourself and resist Fontaine's control. b) Have his life ended by his own orders, rather than someone else's.

Can't Andrew Ryan say, "would you kindly ignore Fontaine" ?

Fontaine would override it.

Would be a close tie with KOTOR and Deus Ex but KOTOR just takes the prize for me.

Planetside in its prime was by far the best pvp MMO. Not sure about now though. Check it out, its an FPS MMO.

No, enjoying it for yourself is not enough, nor is it the point. It has to be online. Other random internet people need to see it so that you can grow your e-peen, improve your confidence and self-worth, and get the e-ladies. hama666 knows what I'm talkin' bout.

F1_2004
Nice try. Im not big on MMO microtransactions either but it makes more sense to show off your e-peen than it does to show off yourself in...erm a singleplayer game? I dont endorse either just you know.

Excuse me for asking, but made you decide to pay actual money on a piece of armour for your horse in a videogame, which no one else will be able to see? If Oblivion was an MMO I'd half-understand, but it isnt.

dnuggs40
What does other people seeing the armor have to do with his enjoyment of it?

Well enlighten me..what would YOU get out of it? Im ok with paying reasonable amounts for some DLC content that enhance the gameplay, but this doesnt do anything...your horse just looks different, doesnt even go faster....nothing. Sorry but I just find it bizarre that people would pay real money for these kind of things, I mean fair play to Bethesda for managing to make money out of stupid little things like this.

Dead Space. Its got a touch of Mass Effect in it, while being an excellent horror game that always keeps you in the edge of your seat.
