It's funny how no one follows the rules when a particular review doesn't go their way. I see a ton of metacritic being used for some reason. Interesting. I guess everyone could have used metacritic when Forza got an 8.5? I guess gamespot scores don't count after all. todd2r

The "GS only" rule aplies only to the Metagame (Uncharted3 adds another AAAE to PS3 for the year, bringing it to 2 AAAE/5 AAE) and the Hype/Flop sub-game (U3 was Hyped AAAE and met hype). So as far as the circumstances when only GS scores count as per "the Rules," this is a boring score. Beyond that, people can use any source they want to make comparisons.

Edge isn't bias. They even use a spectrum that is somewhat more forgiving than I would. They will instead give the biggest games a 6/10 scale instead of a 8/10 scale. In all honesty, I would give games like gears of war and resistance 2/5. Why? Because they don't appeal to me. It is like going to spy kids 4d and saying 'well its a good kids movie'. Some reviews border on absurd like rating sesame street a 8/10 because it is great for kids.
