It sounds like the writing is terrible and it’s impossible to pick dialogue options that you actually want your character to say, leading to you disliking your own character. As promising as the gameplay, world and graphics look, I can’t sit through a terrible story with terrible dialogue and interactions.

Some people can probably look past it, but I can’t do that in an RPG. When will AAA devs learn that we don’t want shi**y Disney/Marvel dialogue or characters in games like this? HR departments don’t belong in video games.

@zerojuice: apparently that’s what big budget movies are going to sell for now. I don’t know a single person in my real life that would pay this price for a movie. I don’t know how they’re going to sell copies.

@plustwenty: it looks that way. That much money for a movie is insanity. I’ll choose a new video game over a $50-$60 new movie 100% of the time, even if the game sucks. I’ll stick to digital movies on sale. If my digital library gets taken one day, then so be it. I don’t need em anyways.

Chill out and learn to read, guys. Activision isn’t charging for this. It’s a 3rd party program that costs money. You can simply purchase and use it through COD. As much as I loathe COD, this one isn’t their doing. They’re just advertising a 3rd party product. It’s not necessary or detrimental to the game in any way, shape or form.

It is dumb, though. I’ll never pay for an audio profile.

@plustwenty: this is the only movie that I’ve seen priced like this. Inflation doesn’t suddenly double the price of a movie.

@cyrezeraser: they’re just faking a sale. This never happens with standard 4k releases or with anything else at release, really. They’re simply scamming people into believing that they’re getting an unbelievable deal. It’s true. It’s literally unbelievable, because it’s a fake sale. They’re still selling the movie for normal retail price of $25+ with this “50% off” sale.

This isn’t a sale at all. I don’t know if the general population ever notices, but around the holidays, prices get jacked way up above their normal retail value and then they “put it on sale” for a “huge discount” which actually only amounts to a couple dollars below the true retail value and they call it a great deal and people jump out of their chairs for that fake “60% off sale.” Sure, there are some actual sales out there, but they’re harder to find.

I see it every year. Never have I seen it with a standard 4k movie release though. $50-$60 is not the retail value of a standard new 4k movie. $30 is the maximum for big budget releases. $35 for steelbook. In a lot of cases, $25 is the standard. Sometimes even just $20. At least Vudu stays true to pricing and has actual sales.

Don’t be fooled. This is not a sale, it’s not a good deal; it is not 50% off; it’s normal retail pricing and they’re being stupid about it, because they simply want to maximize their profits by making it look like a fantastic deal.

@Tiwill44: that’s understandable. I can be that way also, depending on the game. I certainly prefer native resolutions, but that’s not always possible if I want a solid frame rate.

@guitarwarrior66: what in the hell are you going on about? Black was never more popular than Killzone. In fact, going by sales alone, Killzone was twice as popular. Your sentences are hardly even coherent.
