i think SMG was of a decent difficulty - easy to get to the final boss and beat the game for the youngns, a little tougher to get all the stars.. it would be a good idea if the replay with luigi was made harder in some way though to give more of a challenge -- or even easy/medium/hard difficulty modes? might be harder to implement into a mario game though, there isn't really enemy AI, but less health/lives or something, or a timer?

yeah.. mine looks great on my LCD too - using component anyways, haven't tried it with composite on my new LCD
I'm curious whether or not Wii Sports Resort Bowling will update its control scheme to account for the things we talk(ed) about here.dirktui wonder that too... i think they might update it because if people are using the new M+ and the ball is spinning the opposite way to the way you are, people might start freaking out! then again, you could say the same thing with wii sports... who knows. i guess we'll find out in a month!
has anyone played this game? or seen any reviews for it? im not looking for an intense videogame experience with it (obviously).. just wanted to pick something up that was good fun for when families come over, or for friends who aren't really into videogames, its supposed to be easy to pick up and play but just wondering if its actually any fun?
absolutely! the 'pick up and play'ness of wii sports still hasn't been beat IMO.. i cant wait for resort to come out!
[QUOTE="MadSavage22"]wtf? i think i understand what he's saying.. maybe.. like when playing the conduit when you use the motion for melee, your pointer gets messed up because you're moving the remote. but of course, nunchuk has motion sensing too.. so i dont know.. but i vote pointer, although they both contribute pretty well, especially with M+. the motion allows for some crazy minigames and sports games -- but the IR is superb with shooters, navigating menus, has revolutionized soccer games, and i think without the IR the motion would be a little more lost.to be honest I think they should make the nunchuck the motion and the wiimote for aiming....having them both on one sucks..

dude, you're right! after reading that little article you posted i figured i would try it for myself... and yes, if you stand to the left and aim straight you can't spin left.. that is weird! i can't believe after years of playing the game i never noticed that, but then again i guess ive never tried to intentionally gutter in that way.
i also noticed if i dont move right or left at all, i can only spin left (as a right-handed player, and with a full set of pins). i can spin right if just the 10-pin is there or something, but only left with a full set. even if you stand to the right and aim to the left (say to the 7-pin), it spins right toward the pins even if you spin left. i guess there's a correction in direction if you're going to gutter. you still have full control if you're going toward the pins though... so i dont think it really affects gameplay (i haven't noticed in years so it obviously doesnt :)) -- but good find!
