If you plan on getting a couple of M+'s anyway... I would buy virtua tennis, buy one M+, and then wait for Wii Sports Resort for your second. If you're going to get a tennis game now then you might as well buy a M+ because that's the only way you'll get the most out of the game.

Oh.. and my local GameStop sells the M+ for 24.99... so don't buy your M+ from there as its $20 most other places (and I live in the US..)

i do have the old wii sports.. but i dont think any of the game mechanics changed.. ive played the newer version on other people's wiis and haven't noticed any difference. and i have a pro rating but i know that that doesn't affect anything. maybe there's a problem with your remote. have you tried a different remote? or try switching from right handed to left handed mode (or vice versa) and see if its still spinning the same way

I can spin both ways pretty easily.. just tilting it the appropriate way should work fine.. :/, i dont know what other advice to give you. sometimes if you try to overspin it might go the opposite way. try already tilting it whichever way you want to spin as you bowl, because if you're tilting to the right after you release the ball it will spin that way and then you can't spin it back the other way...

if you haven't already.. try unplugging the nunchuk and then plugging it back in making sure the analog stick is straight up. i think the stick calibrates itself as straight when you plug it in, so if its leaning one way when you plug it in, when its straight up it thinks its going the other way... thats happened to me a number of times anyway

I gotta agree with Gabu, de Blob is underrated. Such a beautiful, unique and fun game.

a couple of times when going to play online.. and it tries to add me in the middle of a game, the screen goes semi-frozen and i can slightly move with the cursor, usually looking at black space or a wall, and i cant do anything. the kills on the top left still update so i know i didnt lose connection, and the score and hud show, but i cant do anything and have to turn the wii off...

has this happened to anyone else...?!

i think that if you don't have/don'twant to get MotionPlus you'd better go for Tiger 09 for the better price.
