@vs_shield: I agree they are identical, but Xbox Live is $10 cheaper in Canada now, according to Sony. And Xbox Live does not remove your Xbox 360 game collection when you cancel your subscription.
Yes, Xbox Live allows you to keep your Xbox 360 games forever regardless if you are a live member or not.
So with that said, Xbox Live is now technically better than PSN Plus.
@joshrmeyer: Cause they pay the kid making the coke $2 a day to make millions of cokes. Reason coke cost more where we live is cause the guy making the coke is getting like $200 a day to make it. Same reason why Marlboro Cigarettes are so damn cheap in Eastern Europe, cause the guy making the cigarette is getting paid chump change.
That's why it makes zero sense for Sony to increase the price by $20 in Canada of all places, cause Canadian are poor to begin with and they make the same if not less salary than Americans. Its like asking the Americans to pay $20 bucks more for PSN. Nobody is gonna go for it, people are just gonna cancel and use Xbox Live instead.
This exactly why I said you can't just convert the USD amount to the Canadian exchange rate and expect people to go for it. Doesn't work like that.
Even if you scalped them at 5 bones extra a card, that's an easy grand in profits for 200 cards. If you bought a thousand cards that's an easy 5 grand in profits, just by marking it up be 5 bucks.
@ProjektInsanity: Sprite is da expensive, yo. That's why nobody does it anymore. To animate that shit takes massive man hours, so everyone is taking the cheap way out. So sad.
@stuff238: You're talking about extending with credit card of course that won't stack. Smart people like me, are stacking them by buying them in stores with cash, you get the prepaid 1 year subscription card, then you just add the card code into your PSN account and Sony has no choice but to honor those cards.
Bam, you just fucked Sony over. If you are rich you could by 20 years of cards and just extend your account until 2036.
Or better, buy 10000 cards and start selling them after Sept 22nd.
