@akassassin11: I can't stand talent going to waste. I can't stand a talented game developer wasting his time repeating the same thing over and over again. Same with films, I can't stand it when a talented director makes the same film over and over again.
Which is why I was cheering when Nolan decided to stop doing comic book movies and started shifting his talent back to serious dramas. 3 Batman films is enough.
5 Souls games is enough. This man has way too much talent to waste his whole life doing the exact same thing forever just to satisfy you. You wanna play Souls go play the five that you already own, or play Nioh, I'm sure countless Souls rip offs will come out, but don't force this developer to spend his whole life repeating himself just for you.
A lot of people would have Nolan directing comic book films for the rest of his life, but wouldn't it be a huge waste of talent? Same point.
@DarkAztaroth: I got nothing against the Souls games, just the whole thing is getting old. You even got other developers copying the trend with Nioh.
I hope they stop making the same games over and over. Even Bloodborne was more or less just Dark Souls in a different shell.
I hope they grow as a developer an try there hands at different things. Maybe a completely new genre that's not even an RPG would be nice. You can't grow when you just keep doing the same thing over and over again.
I hope they stop making the super hard Souls type games, its getting old.
I really hope he means it when he says that this phase of their company is over and they are moving on with new things. Better not be another Souls knock off.
I hope they do a completely different genre. Don't waste your life repeating yourself.
@ltjohnnyrico: A lot of people do. Casual gamers don't bother with reviews, they don't have the time or care.
Why do you think Fifa is spending money every year on spokesperson deals for the games.
Like I said, you're not the target for the cover art, you would have bought FIfa 17 if it had fat ass Steven Segal wearing a santa clause costume on the cover. Don't tell me you wouldn't
@ltjohnnyrico: Yeah, but Fifa fans like you are already gonna buy the game regardless of who the hell is on the cover. They already have your money, they can put Jean Claud Van Damme on the cover and you will still buy the game.
The spokesperson is designed to attract casual sports fans like myself, and other gamers. People who don't really care about the sport but would buy a game based on what they see on the box cover. If you see Neymar on PES and you see some random dude on Fifa, you're more likely gonna get PES.
@ltjohnnyrico: Yeah, but Prescott was seen as a lucky punch, they were talking Prescott Khan 2, up until Khan got floored by Canelo. So, it was really Canelo that proved Khan got no chin once and for all.
Its sad that the biggest thing in boxing is a guy who got wupped badly by an aging Mayweather, such a digression of the sport. Canelo isn't fit to wipe Mayweather or Pacquiao's shoes in their prime, and yet in a era of losers, the best loser wins.
The problem with FIFA looking for a spokesperson is that all the good looking famous guys are already taken by PES, which leaves them with ugly semi-famous guy like Ozil or guys that are not famous at all. Kinda sad for FIFA, cause honestly I don't see any of these guys being good spokesperson for the game. If you're a casual sports fan, are you gonna buy the game with Neymar on the cover (PES) or the game with some dude you've never seen in your life?
Konami should be thanking their lucky stars right about now.
@ltjohnnyrico: You must be a big sports fan to have heard of Canelo, Khan and Golovkin, then, sadly most people are not as dedicated to sports as you are. I only know them cause I'm an avid boxing fan, but 99% of my friends have no clue who they are. Considering that the best of the three Canelo, lost badly to Mayweather a while back, when the best of a sport is a loser, than there is really not much you can do with them.
Like I said, I've heard of Chelsea both the place and the club, but never Dortmund, and I really have no clue who any of these four young gentlemen are, sadly, I'd not a big soccer fan to know them.
But I do know the face of PES, Neymar. A star is a star, and Neymar is a star.
I think Fifa really found themselves in a bad position right now. Their top man Messi is a convicted tax cheat, so they can't use him anymore, and the next best man Neymar is already signed to PES, so they are now stuck looking for a new spokesperson, almongst a sea of unknown players. I feel for Fifa, they got screwed, they can't use Ronaldo cause Ronaldo is the face of PES, they can't use Neymar cause he's also the face of PES, there are not that many good looking soccer players.
Some players are good and well know but are too ugly to be the spokesperson, like Mesut Ozil, who I would say is a lot more famous than any of these guys, but the man looks like a retard. So, here we are. Good looking famous people are few and far between.
P.S Canelo already proved that Khan can't take a punch, we didn't need Prescott, and Prescott is another fighter that nobody gives shit a about.
@ltjohnnyrico: I'm not a SOCCER fan, I've never in my life heard of any of these guys, nor have ever heard of Dortmund or Borussia or whatever the hell. I only heard of Chelsea from playing Fifa games.
So, no these dudes are nobodies, you'd think if they were actually famous, EA would need to hold a public vote on who to make their spokesperson? Did they hold a vote on Messi? Did PES hold a vote on Ronaldo?
Have you ever heard of Canelo, Kahn or Golovkin? No, right, cause they are nobodies. Even they are the biggest boxers in the sport right now, they are still nobodies to the world. Same with these guys
