@iandizion713: Keep dreaming buddy.

FACT - Wii U is lowest selling Nintendo Home Console ever released, and is the shortest Console Generation in the history of gaming, clocking in at 5 years before it is replaced by NX.

That's the shortest in the history of gaming. Even the GameCube which sold 9 million more, lasted for 6 years.

@iandizion713: You honestly think anyone is gonna be interested in getting Wii U when NX is on the shelve? How quickly was PS3 and Xbox360 discontinued after PS4 and XB1 got released.

They've already stopped manufacturing new Wii U's. The system is dead, its just wrapping up the left over stock before NX is released.

They probably don't even have 9 million in stock to surpass GameCube even if they wanted to surpass it.

Thanks for proving my point by mentioning GameCube.

Like I said Nintendo wishes they have another GameCube, they are that pathetic at this point.

@iandizion713: Game Cube sold 22 million. that's 9 million more, keep laughing cause Wii U is being pulled from circulation, NX is already scheduled for 2017 release.

You think they are gonna sell 9 million units in 1 year, when they only sold 13 million in 4 years. Are you on crack?

The chances of Wii U passing Gamecube is ZERO. Not gonna happen. Magical Unicorns would need to rule the Earth for that to happen, I'd bet on magical Unicorns over the Wii U overtaking the Gamecube.

So, your point is mute.

@iandizion713: Barely......Do you consider 10 million units barely?

What planet do you live on? By catching up, you mean being close to 10 million behind. Thats what you mean by catching up. Selling half as much, is what you mean by barely.

By catching up, they plan on ditching this generation all together throwing in the towel and starting a new generation next year. That's what you mean by catching up, right.

@iandizion713: Gamecube was much more successful than Wii U. Nintendo wishes they have another GameCube.

They dream about another GameCube, cause that shit sold like 10 million more units than Wii U.

Nintendo is finished in the home console business. Looks like they haven't learned a single thing from the failure of Wii U.

Sad, when they can't see the forest for the trees.

@Iconoclysm: The old Zelda games had like no story. Literally somebody would come up to Link and tell him that Ganon was the da evil, and that was it, Link would happily go and kill Ganon, every single time.

This one actually has dialogue for a change. And Zelda games rarely ever fleshed out Ganon's character other than him being da evil and needing to be killed. The only Zelda game that ever had a realistic Ganon was Windwaker, where before dying Ganon would say something about how his own land was baron and all he ever wanted was to create a Hyrule for his people. That's about as deep as Zelda's ever been.

@milk: You could in many oldschool RPGs overlevel your characters to beat bosses that you were supposed to lose to, thus ending the game early and getting an alternate ending.

Doing things that you are not supposed to do is greatest thing about RPGs.

I remember beating Tales of Phantasia early once, by beating a mini-boss that I was never mean't to beat. You get a special ending where the game tells you that the characters were so strong that they each separated and went their owns ways and became renowned in their own way, but that's a different story for a different game. LOL I was pretty surprised that the game actually created an alternate ending just in the rare case someone beat a boss that never mean't to be beaten.
