@xcollector: Exactly

Brand New Concept = A Console that only turns on when you are naked

Not Sold at a Loss = Runs on Pentium Celeron CPU with 256meg ram.

No E3 = The system is too imbarrassing to show at E3, they gonna secretly release it when no one is looking.

Long live Nintendo.

@Jinzo_111887: They decided to stop supporting it because Wii U's hardware is on par with PS3, not PS4 or XB1. So how the hell are they expected to make all there new games work on the Wii U? The Witcher 3, Batman Arkham Knight, Fallout 4, etc, etc, barely run on PS4 and XB1, how are third party devs supposed to get them magically run on a system that's got the same power as a PS3?

Most third party AAA games barely run on PS4 and XB1, so getting them to run on weak ass Wii U is not even possible.

Not selling at a loss almost certainly means that the NX will not be a true 4K console. There goes Nintendo's chance to take the lead for a change.

Expect another weak hardware from Nintendo.

Zombie stark, God, how lame things are getting. The show started great, but has become a joke now, George RRRRR Martin or whatever his name is has gotta just end the damn thing already. It's been milked to death already, short of Superman showing up to help fight the white walkers there really nothing left to do.

There was even this whole pointless scene with the dwarf visiting the dragons and delivery some horrible pointless dialogue.

This show had the potential to be epic like Lord of the Rings but due to over milking is becoming lamer with each season.

Hell the show's become so drawn out the poor crippled kid looks 35 now. I swear to god, he started as a kid, now he's a full grown man, if they don't end it the kid will die of old age.

@masterkushh: If it was like Bushido blade nobody would have a health bar, you would just run around one shotting everybody and getting one shotted yourself. Even bosses would have no health bar, and would also get one shotted just like in real life.

That would be an awesome game. The entire game would be like Souls or Onimusha, but nobody has an energy bar, and one slash can kill anyone, including bosses.

That would be like real life.

@TigusVidiks: Which is why the messed, why would you even wanna try to go for Dark Souls success, when you can go for Witcher 3 success. Why aim to be less successful, even if you get DS success its still just a niche game success.

Instead if they made this game like Witcher 3 without the dumb Soul wannabe difficulty they might have a chance at true success, mainstream success.

@munjed: Actually the old methods work just fine, Take The Witcher 3, much more popular than the Souls game. Bigger seller, bigger profits, bigger budget, better game.

Artificial difficulty does not make a game better it just makes it a chore to complete, You end up spending more time grinding for levels, and more time blindly memorizing enemy flowcharts and placements on the map, instead of spending the time enjoying the world, story, characters which was the point of games like Onimusha.

There is a minute group of people out there who love blindly remembering every flowchart of every enemy in these games, but they are in the minority. Generally most people don't have the time or the patience for that, most people prefer games like Witcher 3 where enemies don't kill you in 2 hits and you don't need to be superhuman in memorizing patterns in every boss fight.

This growing trend of artificially difficult games is just a fad, that's it. True greatness has always been in the story, the characters, the land, the lore, not how quickly you die from super leveled enemies or how quickly you can hide behind a rock when you run out of stamina. Those are just gimmicks, not what makes a game good.

I think most people will agree since Witcher 3 is more mainstream than these Soul wannabe games.

@Mabrry: Honestly I liked Souls in the beginning but lost interest after DS2 after beating Fume and Aries Dragon, I was like what the hell was the point? I wasted 100s of hrs of my life grinding and memorizing flowcharts and enemy placements for what? I didn't feel any more pimp after killing Fume after fighting him hundreds of times, I just felt more robotic, I learned his flowchart down to a ti, so what?

For me the fun of an action RPG has always been about the locations, the story, the lore, the characters, not about mindlessly grinding and memorizing flowcharts so I can beat a boss without making a mistake. Those were never the reasons why I play action RPGs.

Which is why I like The Witcher 3, much better. You can enjoy the story, the characters, the world, without the nuisance of having to deal with every enemy being 10 times stronger than you and every boss being 100 times stronger than you.

I think different people play these kinda games for different reasons, but honestly I think most people would prefer Witcher 3 over DS 3 any day of the weak.

Playing a game where every enemy is overleveled is fun as a novelty, but gets old real quick. At the end its just a gimmick, the true gem lies in the story, the lore, the land, the characters and the desire to keep playing, not blindly memorizing enemy flowcharts.

Just my 2 cents. I think game designers should try to make more games like Witcher 3, instead of chasing after the gimmick of artificial difficulty ala Souls. In fact I find Souls infinitely more enjoyable when playing with an over leveled character then the game feels normal for a change. In fact I played Bloodborne using the blood duplication trick and it made the game infinitely more enjoyable. I wasn't running back to home base to restock and level up every 2 minutes, I was exploring the land and enjoying the story.

The fact that Bloodborne's difficulty became a joke the moment you overleveled your character shows how shallow the whole difficulty level is in Souls games. It all falls apart the moment you can take more damage than the enemies can dish out. So much for ingenious enemy design bs.

@TigusVidiks: What are you talking about. Any enemy in any souls game can be made a cake walk as long as you are significantly over leveled.

As long as you can 2 hit kill an enemy and they need to hit you 6 times or more the whole game become a cake walk.

All Souls games can be made into an Onimusha game in terms of difficulty just by increasing your characters level high enough.

Which proves that Soul games difficulty is not from ingenious game design but simply from making enemies tougher and the hero weaker.

All Souls designer whatever his name is ever did was say hey what if we broke all the old game design rules, and instead of making the hero tough and random enemies weak, lets do the opposite, lets make every single enemy stronger than the hero and make the hero the weakest character in the game. Voila Souls was born.

Its not rocket science that if you are weaker than every single enemy in the game then the game becomes insanely difficulty. The same rules applies to every game ever made, its usually hidden behind the highest difficulty level in the settings, but Soul games just got rid of all difficulty settings and made it default.
