Seeing what Nintendo is doing here, rehashing the same games with the same characters with the same gameplay mechanics with the same old cartoonish graphics with no advancements in any category which are all clearly targeted to little children as they have no attention span. Yet, millennials with now apparent mental disorders are proclaiming this an E3 win. Obviously, I don't get it.

@lonesamurai1: Microsoft never promised them. The Xbox brand zealots did with the assumption they would be dominate over Sony gamers somehow. You can't demand the tears of the ponies without full 4K/60 $3000 high end PC gaming performance for the low low price of just $500. Games not included.

@Mogan: That's my issue as well, expect they're on PS4. I will get the PC version for the campaign. Not sure I'll invest the time in Strikes or End Game this time. I'm no stranger to buying the same game on multiple platforms for different purposes but with Destiny the stats don't stay with you so that will be out of the question.

One thing Microsoft has over Sony right now is nearly all their long anticipated games have actual street dates this year. The bulk of what Sony has been showing the past couple years still no street dates. Most not even this year. Days Gone is on my buy list but who the hell knows when it will ever come out. That is where Sony failed, no street dates on long announced titles.

Sony met my expectation but not my hopes. Things balanced out I suppose. I fully expected them to show, yet again, all the same games they've been showing. They did that but without release dates and that sucks so they failed there. While Microsoft nearly cleaned their slate with known games with launch dates and even technical specs on how those games will look. Sony, flashy game trailers, no details on Pro enhanced titles, no dates, no new hardware, no surprises. Very safe. They even went as far as to talk about the Pro as the best console, which technically it is and has been since it release and remain so till the XoX, and VR.

I certainly look forward to the Sony exclusives as they will shine on the Pro. I'll also enjoy some nice online gaming with the XoX since I'm a gamepad guy. The rest, all the exciting single player campaigns, will remain PC exclusive for me. All of the above will be in 4K (or close enough) so I believe now, with XoX, all bases are truly covered.

@yukushi: There are other trains of thought on that topic. For the asking price I expected the XoX to have a 1TB SSD and an Elite controller to be considered the premium product they are claiming it to be. Or to include a free game at least. There are so many things to make a simple console only launch more enticing to people that are always harping on cost.

There are still losers playing and grinding away on the original Destiny. I doubt the numbers of drones out there desperate to see purple and gold will give a shit about 60fps on Destiny 2 since they clearly do not care now, nor did they when they first sold their souls to this game. They will be more concerned about gaming the system and cheating their way back up the ranks and finding loopholes in the game to quickly advance their ranking.

But if framerates do matter, it's time to consider PC gaming.

@xboxonex: Looking stupid and talking shit is what Xbox fanboys do. They've spent months doing that with the grand expectations of the Scorpio doing full on 4k/60 on everything and now reality is setting in. Once everyone sees there will be little to no difference between the XoX and PS4 Pro we'll all be left complaining about the games again.

Even with the most powerful console ever made and then the eventual release of XoX in November, neither will get 60fps. If you want frames you want a PC, period.

ANY Halo news would have been better than NO Halo news. 4K/60 upgrades of the existing franchise was on most gamers minds and that would have been the easy route to make everyone happy.
