@RicanV: There is a select group of people willing to play these games you say are on Xbox, the only games it has that are already better on PS4 Pro and/or PC. Graphics don't matter to this certain ethnic group of gamers because of cost and the Scorpio will cost plenty.
@xscrapzx: Destiny isn't open world, it's just a bunch of areas tied together with narrow passage ways to reduce load times.
I stand by my statement, many open world games are there because they can be, not because they should be. There are excellent ones that have purpose and there are more that don't. Wildlands should have been rebuilt into a more linear experience that could have been larger areas. No need to world build when your customer base will never see it all. This isn't Bethesda, they know what they're doing.
"Open World" games are becoming the dime a dozen throw away genre that most online multiplayer shooters have become. Who the hell has time for all those!
Bring back the Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter and Rainbow Six series', those were real Ghost Recon games. You don't need another open world with tons of filler clone to appease fans of Tom Clancy branded games. Open world games were cool 10 years ago when they were rare and served a purpose. Now they just create massive demands on your hardware and you'll likely never see the majority of the game world they built.
