@thomasn7: I've been a PC gamer for nearly 20 years. If a console can come close graphically I would rather game on a console. PC's generate a lot of heat, draw more electricity, can have any number of issues running poorly optimized games. There are plenty of pro's and con's to each depending on your needs. I love building high end custom gaming PC's have have owned my more than mu fair share of $3000 SLI gaming systems over the years but can REALLY appreciate the simplicity and ease of use of a console as long as it's a good quality system. If Xbox One X gives me 4K graphics with minimal sacrifice I'll take it. Unfortunately, the PS4 Pro failed because Sony allowed developers to dictate how the support will be and there isn't enough or completely piss poor.
@BassMan: I'm not sure people with 1080p displays or smaller screens 55" and below can notice that. It ruined my experience on a 65" 4K TV so they better fix it. The outcry over the pay to win loot boxes will overshadow any nitpicks like the graphics filters because not enough people game on quality hardware to to even see these problems.
