Yes, Xbox One X. Huge deal for me, love new hardware. Love that Microsoft (Phil Spencer) decided to think ahead with this one and get with the times. Can't wait to plug myself back into the matrix or xbox ecosystem. It will be so nice to fire up an Xbox game again and not get eye cancer and shut it off dreading having to get rid of it. Seriously, this is great. I don't give a crap about old games, some do and that's good for them. Microsoft needs as many old games as they can resurrect to feed the "free" Gold games pipeline so enjoy those I guess. In my case, I will certainly be happy using a gamepad to play online for a few titles since I despise keyboard and mouse gaming but cant live without my 4k. Star Wars Battlefront and Titanfall 2 were gorgeous eye candy in 4k/60 on PC but I couldn't play them because using a gamepad meant instadeath if I wanted to get my other $30 worth and play online ($30 for the campaign, $30 for the online, I place value on everything). So Battlefront II on XoX will be my first game on the new console, already decided.
It's sad there will still be console brand loyalists vomiting and shitting on every forum on every site about Sony still and I hope I don't get match up with any of them/YOU!. The PS4 Pro is a fucking amazing console and it's exclusives alone make it worth owning even if they are few and far between. The wait is ALWAYS worth it. I think Sony wins in the games department hands down but now... NOW.. not since 2005, Microsoft wins in the excitement and engagement department. The level of intimacy they have with their fans is why xbots are so hardcore, they feel a personal relationship with Phil Spencer and Major Nelson. These guys are constantly in your face and they feel like family. I can see that and I'm cool with that. Bull shit and all.
Some would argue, and I'm only playing devils advocate when I say this, the Sony show was a bombastic array of nothing but the best exclusive games to be expected in the coming year. I knew well in advance there would be a repeat showing of all the same games so my disappointment was in the lack of any new surprises. It was a safe show but there's no denying Sony are the kings of the best exclusives. In a way that there are many that hit hard and resonate long as opposed to Microsoft's tiny few that are quick concentrated explosions then fade in a cloud of dust shortly after, if you can understand my meaning.
The lack of solid release dates and the continuous pushing of the biggest games further in to the future were certainly lows. My heart sunk every time I saw "coming 2018" I hate that shit. That is were Microsoft succeeded. Sony's no show of new hardware was a disappointment since many were still on the XoX announcement high. Sony was a serious buzzkill in comparison.
The new question gamers need to start asking is "does my favorite game run on my favorite console under unacceptable parameters?". If the answer is yes, move along. If the answer is no, buy a pc.

@tjkraz: I've always acknowledged that devs will take things too far and over build preventing the true performance from shining through but instead packing in too much filler to make the games bloated. In turn, bogging the down the hardware. So we agree on different levels.
