MS is not making a BD Drive...The same guy at avsforum.com (amir who works for MS/HD-DVD division) that confirmed the 360 won't output lossless audio,  also laughed at the notion of MS ever releasing a BD drive

There is a noticeable difference with lossless audio but if thats whats keeping you from buying a 360 or any console, you might wanna go see a doctor about getting the stick removed from your a**.

uncompressed video does not exist,  and probabley never will in my lifetime.

It's uncompressed audio.  And uncompressed audio is exactly what it sounds like...It has no compression whatsoever,  it's bit for bit exactly like it was always supposed to sound like..

Dolby Digital = Regular Surround Sound with up to 640kbps bitstreams

Dolby Digital Plus & DTS = Surround Sound,  usually 1.5mbps bitstreams

TrueHD & DTS-HD MA = Surround sound,  usually bitstreams between 3.0mbps-7.0mbps bitstreams.

So basically,  uncmopressed audio has a crapload more data

Than buy a stand alone HD-DVD player. Most people are getting the Elite 360 for games, HD-Movies and tv shows they will buy from XBLM and also IPTV.

I don't have room for a stand alone HD-DVD player,  besides MS telling me "if you want lossless audio,  buy a stand alone HD-DVD player" after the fact that i have already bought a HD-DVD drive is just not good enough..
