I would like to see the announcement for a XB1 upgrade/slim, but I doubt it will happen. MS will likely not, nor can afford, to do anything to damage the degree of success they have built up with the current version of the system by making it appear insubstantial. Such an act is the domain of a market leader only. Likely, they will announce things to look forward to; improving the current Xbox experience, games, functionality- and the like. At the very slimmest possibility, they will observe what happens when PS4.5 is released, then make a decision based on that dynamic.
I saw the game in the XB Store the other day, and even though I knew the marketing plans to sell it- just physically seeing the only way to get this was in a bundled, and only obtainable at an inflated price method, pissed me off. No fair buying choices = no sale. I can just as easily play MW on ultra settings on my PC. Change this obvious rip off and let us buy the game for 20 bucks = sale. 80-100 dollars for a new COD experience, just to get a remastered version of a 10 year old game? Keep your rotted dangling carrot and fire your marketing team. Or, better yet, go back to the COD roots and use the past wars of history to base the game on- then I'll consider it.
@livedreamplay: That's not true. There are games on the list that are clearly AAA, the problem is getting the publisher to let go of the 3rd party one's. Still, its better on the BC available for PS4. Oh. forgive me- there isn't any.
@hotwog21: Couldn't agree with you more. The only good I have gotten out of this is the pleasure of having Soul Calibur 2 on my XB1, even though my 360 is sitting on the rack below. I will not be satisfied, or see a reason to replace the shelf with my 360 with a different system until the High Moon Transformers games are added. I suggest M$ shell out an extra few of those dollars to meet the obvious demands of licensing fees by the publishing companies that are holding our favorite games hostage. Until then, yeah, its definitely "classic collection, " mostly.
