You know, I ultimately don't care and just consider the source, but some of the comments here are just plain ignorant. WTF is it that every chance some console loyalist brokedick gets a chance to bash a the 2nd place console every gen, the ability to read intelligent debate and arguement goes right out the window?

Why are the readers with 12 years old input allowed to post what is basically bs and not have their comments removed.?

If I moderated this site I would see to it that every opinion was reflected only if done whilst critically supporting a point. Then we could have a sequential flow of feedback that is entertaining to read, not some shyt that makes you want to slap some 12-14 year old punk. Saying "Xbox sucks, PS4 is superior" is not only untrue, it is a subjective and frustratingly unintellectual way to prove a point. You're just making yourselves look stupid. No wonder Sony finds it so easy to doninate sales. Any marketeer could sell snake oil to you chumps. 

You want an intellectual opinion? Go to Tom's Hardware, one of the most respected tech sites on the planet- check out the recent article that compared XBox One and PS4. Guess who won? It wasn't PS4. I'm not an anti Sony freak, I actually own every PS console since 95- except for PS4. That might change soon since finally, three years later some decent games are on the precipice of coming out for it.

PS4 is not superior to XB1. The only thing that it bodes are maybe some games that play at a higher resolution and it sales- which is not a techinal domain. One that note, XB1 is not superior to PS4- but they are both extremely comparable to each other.

You want to know what superior means? Well, its not your Jaguar processor based PS4, a CPU that is evolved from the Atom based mini laptops. LMAO, a fckn mini-laptop! Its not surely not my XB1 (though that system surely provides a better a round experience currently), but my PC. To all the morons throwing out how thier premade piece of hardware console is- I'm here to tell you that your PS4 would overheat and spontaneously combust if it tried to do what my PC can. Its a fact, but it also sounds kind of foolish, just like the lot of you with your PS4 superiority delusions\comments. 

Case in point, anybody claiming computing superiority over something that is not only on par technologically to another product, but with a product that was already below spec to current tech three years ago- is a raving idiot preteen, an anti-gamer, or an immature minded twat. Next time you want to boast about superior PS4 sales, think about the console that competes with it to thank for it. Without competition it would be a different reality, and Sony would be a bleak world for you. 

Hell, half of you so called loyalists are a bunch of posuer 360 owners from last gen. Its funny, that one such as I, who doesn't even own a PS4 yet, is probably better suited to be called a Sony enthusiast than you are. Buy all the consoles, build some credibility- then come on here and spew your bs. That would be easier to digest. Gdamned peons.

@chatphon: Simple answer: yes. Ensure your system RAM meets the minimum requirements of 8GB, though, I would personally suggest 16GB. If you are limited on USB 3.0 ports, pick up a four port USB 3.0 hub. I prefer the powered variety. Your CPU is fine. A GTX 960, while not as powerful, is still close enough to a GTX 970 to be supported. According to the testing done by Tom's, you should achieve medium fidelity with this GPU (the same as I will with my R9 380 4 GB).

The specs were never the problem. Simply, there's no way in hell I'm putting Win 10 on my gaming rig. At least, not for a while.

Until Microsoft satisfies the request of thousands of players, and gives us War for Cybertron and Fall of Cybertron - this program is doing absolutely nothing for me.

Colecovision was notable for one thing, and one thing alone back in the day- it was the best place to play arcade perfect console ports. Yes, even leagues better than the NES. Nowadays, this form factor is obsolete because there are simply too many other ways to play arcade perfect games- the need for this system is simply, an "unneed."

If I want to play what this system would have offered I can choose an emulator on pc, or I can fire up my Retron 5.

Now, let's hope these croons return the 80k back to the people.

@demon-returns: Agreed. I just don't understand the need to argue with a bunch of dimwits, 75% of which were supposed Xbox users last gen. Sounds like a credibility issue to me. For what its worth, Xbox One is doing quite healthily and, again, if the quality or superiority of a product was determined by sales, most of the products we use everyday would be different. I don't see anyone with a micron of intellect ditching their Xbox One for a PS4 because PS4 sells better- and if there is anyone who does that you deserve to be admonished as an anti-gamer.

@mantiis: I'll keep this reply to myself to let the accusers ponder. How funny, the assumptions of others! "Fanboy?" I've been gaming for a very long time. Maybe for longer than some assuming automaton has been alive. This means I own all the systems every generation, and I keep them. I'm not a customer of Microsoft one minute and a bandwagoneer for Sony the next. Rather, which system I purchase first depends strictly upon content. "Angry?" No I'm not. I could care less. "Fanboy?" That's funny. No, but you are." Plenty of worthy titles that I'm not giving a chance?" Um, I have probably played those titles on Xbox One or PC. "People like the sleek aesthetic of PS4 over the "VHS" box?" Maybe. Some people are probably shallow like that, but people who understand tech and make intelligent tech purchases probably prefer a chassis for their gaming box that promotes superior ventilation.
