Most 3rd party games run @900p on XB1 and many being released now are running a hybrid 900p-1080p while using a form of conditional vertical sync. You would be hard pressed to tell the difference anyway because the reduction in resolution and frame would occur during instances of high memory load (a lot being drawn to the screen). Anyone who can tell the difference between 900p and 1080p anyway..is a gdamn liar, schoolboy. But to keep saying 720p just to insult people is downright asinine, and those that believe it are ignorant burger flippers from Mcdonalds.
Just for the record, I have all the Sony systems except PS4. I'll be getting it when more titles come out to justify a purchase. I have systems in my collection from Atari 2600 to Neo Geo to Master System, Genesis, Nintendo NES, SNES, Dreamcast, on and on. I don't sell my console at Gamespot like these idiots who insult XB1 do- just to have money to buy what they think is the console everyone thinks is cool. You degenerate phoney gamers, phoney MS 360 bandwagoneers. You have no integrity- in sports you would be the lowest of the low..a fairweather fan. You should be more interested in the games as opposed to the hardware anyway. I think some of the most genuine fans are retro gamers- graphics don't mean squat to them..just the beauty of the game. Yeah, I have a PC too. Just upgraded, then virtually rebuilt it to meet current recommended spec for most games. It easily destroys a current gen console, any low, mid range gaming PC could. Still you know what I currently play most of my games on? That's right, XBox One. The difference between Xb1 and PS4 is nominal at best, but still, PS4 offers no advantage, regardless of its fancy GDDR5 VRAM over XB1. PS4 has its weaknesses, just like other hardware (A CPU based off an architecture used in ATOM based mini-laptops? LMAO just wait until games that take load off the GPU, and things like physics intended to be processed by the CPU- come out. You'll wish you had the DX12 you laugh at)). The gaming experience is comparable. Don't eat the rotting carrot that Sony dangles at you..many of you have and your shyting now. By your logic, I should be playing my PC more just because its superior. Everyone has different tastes for the delivery of their content and you peons should be honorable gamers and respect that. Even back with the Sega/Nintendo wars, there were never a sickening breed of phoney ass gamers such as you. Only an idiot would brag about being able to run 1080p and think they're superior. My PC games at 1440p with solid frames, still, I keep coming back to the XB1. When you idiots start bragging about superiority because your "deliberately underspeced to keep price down" console can play with high, steady frames at 4k- then you will be superior. Please. He's been trying to predict this crap for at least the last three console generations that I can recall- and yet, every generation a new console comes out. Is this theory possible. Perhaps. But not anytime soon. Moore just can't stop dreaming of an era where he can enforce a form of Orgin-like DRM policy on his company's games and juice the hell out us. I recently commented on what a scam the latest COD ploy is, then I wrote that if Activation would perhaps focus on the past wars of history, I'd give it some consideration. Well, Activation, time's up. EA has beat you to the punch. I'm thoroughly ecstatic that Battlefield is taking this route into one of the bloodiest campaigns in human history. I hope they continue the trend. This is a sale for me.
@livedreamplay: False. There will be better titles in the future. It will take time. The gripe is that people, like myself, are just getting impatient. The program is in its infancy. I don't know what you mean by "actual BC." I think when you see a 7th Gen title play on an 8th Gen system locally, that's "actual BC." Again, its free, there's nothing to lose here. So if things don't turn around, oh well.

@skyhighgam3r: Because its the the copy I aquired from a time before it was released to the US, and its the only copy I have. Thus, I never repurchased it when it released here.
