@el_swanno: I really can't imagine that's it. The number of people who care about women's football is minimal. I'm in the UK and no-one even talked about it here, even when the England team were still involved. My mates and I always get together for any real England World Cup / Euro championship / Champions League ? FA Cup games but none of us mentioned the women's games once. There's really not that much interest. It's over-hyped hugely by the media here.
@dmblum1799: I think it's a very small market. Maybe they worked out the possible number of extra buys and decided it just wasn't worth the extra expense.
This looks excellent. I just got Xbox Game Pass and would love it if this came to that service. Tbh, if this and Dying Light 2 came to GP I'll have been satisfied with my investment already.
I've never played AP but it seems pretty pathetic that a game that's still enjoyed by a number of people has been withdrawn from sale simply because the rights on some of the music has expired.
@Vodoo: NMS is a big grind. I bought it when it came out for the xbox and loved it for a couple of weeks - but then started getting bored of the constant grind and ended up selling it. Just thought I was very unlikely to want to play it again so out it went.
I think it looks great, and I loved the freedom to just zip about around and over loads of different planets, but even just flying serenely across a landscape close to the planet surface, which I really enjoyed, also took loads of jet fuel, plus some other liquid for every single take off. In Forza 4 sometimes I just like to drive for a bit, then park up, then drive somewhere else and stop again. I wanted to do a similar thing with NMS but just couldn't because of the endless grind for elements for the fuel and take-off liquid.
That's what makes Darkwood so brilliantly-suited to console. Although on the surface a keyboard suits the game's mechanics--namely its hotfixed inventory system and the quickfire solutions that are often necessary for survival in the night--there's something much more visceral about playing with analog sticks and haptic feedback.
