@cynicalundead: WWE 2K16 is the best wrestling game ive ever played , period. Yes, even including the weird as submission system. The controls are no different than the N64 games, same system, practically the same system, accept the N64 games are slightly slower. But todays wrestling is faster..so. However the Ai in the N64 games however, kick WWE 2K16's ass. The ai in the N64 games are pretty challenging on the hardest difficulty. One thing that needs to happen, is the pin bar needs to fill up much faster if the wrestler has a red body part. Everything about WWE 2K16 (accept the Ai) is better than the N64 games. Especially in the content department. It's stupid Hulk Hogan isn't in the game though. So silly.
@pelvist: They do land, their ships land in ports , but then take off, nothing actually goes on, nothing happens. You meet and greet , , can buy their ship, sell some stuff.......and.........................they leave. I should see some of them walking around the planet doing the exact same thing as me. Hell, even mining the same rocks as me, so it I have to go find another rock to mine. If I want the rock, be cool if you could pick a fight with them. Just anything would be better than what's there right now. But no, you have these little robots that get annoyed if you mine Iron or carbon. Im guessing im going to find out where these little robots come from? But judging by how they are giving me information about civilizations in this game world at the moment. It's possible even those little robots wont be explained.
I get the feeling that Im the only human walking around in no mans sky. What would be cool is if some of the trading ships that fly in the sky actually landed and i could see them mining resources, just as much as im doing. That would at least give me the impression or the illusion there's actual LIFE going on, on these planets. If its going to be a single player game, the NPC's need to be more interesting, I need to see something going on , some kind of LIFE happening, on these planets. It's VERY empty.
@jkittleson: As far as actual gameplay goes, No mans sky, is actually pretty average. I definitely was mining more than excploring and what there was to explore on the planets, really didnt mean anything. Every cave on every planet looked exactly the same. The only interesting things in the game, is the creatures. I found exploring space going to different planets interesting, but actually once i was there, there was nothign worth exploring, bar the scenery and the creatures. The plants, ecology, the rocks ALL looked exactly the same on every single planet i went to. Accept they had different names. The structures of the Gek civilization all were exactly the same, there was zero difference in any of the structures. That's after about 6 planets I spent way over 5 or so hours on each planet. This game was not about exploring, because theres nothing really to explore , accept for the creatures. (which is cool). But lets take the creatures away for a second. Id give it a 3 or a 4 without the random creatures. Seriously the lazer beam navigation structures got so tedious after a hundred or so, constantly zooming out with every single option, that i almost had to stop playing. When it did discover something it was the SAME location icons and destinations, same structures, same everything, on every planet I was on. At least mass Effect had a car I could drive around in. How vbout being able to design my own ship or car using resources an dbits of resources I mine, or my own ground vehicle? There could of been heaps more they could of played around with.
@Ultramarinus: No Man's Sky should of got a 5 or a 6. Its really average. You fly around and you mine and learn about a civilization that is about as interesting as watching paint dry. But 5 shouldn't mean its a really bad game, it's just....average. A 7 should mean a really really good game. Not a mediocre game. An 8 or 9 is an amazing game and one not to be missed. A 10 is a must play , you would be crazy not to play this masterpiece rating.
I think with Titanfall, BF1 and CoD infinite Warfare (with the COD 4 Modern Warfare add on ) mix that with Counter Strike global Offensive, That's me for a year :)
@Marky360: Really? One of the only reason I'm buying COD infinite warfare is because of the COD 4 Modern Warfare add on to the game. You know? That old as 2007 game when COD use to be about fun action orientated historical or currently inspired battle situations. Also I replay Call OF Duty 2 and World at war at times. I still have more fun playing those games, than Black Ops 3.
