@phoenix1289: Your reasoning is sound to me. To be honest though, even if it was true, is it all that surprising that these conversations could potentially be happening? There's still a lot of ignorant people out there, and these events shouldn't necessarily mean that Microsoft as a company are the evil one's :)
True or false, lets clarify that Microsoft as a company are obviously not racist. If the conversation did indeed happen, it was with a very ignorant bunch of MS employees that quite obviously took it upon themselves to dictate with ignorance. Not that this makes it right, but i seriously doubt that any major publisher of software or hardware hasn't had a brush with this issue at some point in the past.
I bought it from CDkeys at launch for £25 & even i felt a little cheated by the severe lack of content. I knew beforehand that the game was lacking, but to that degree & intended for those paying £40+ it was an absolute joke. Capcom should seriously think about releasing all future content throughout the next year free (not simply if you play it enough) by way of an apology to those that paid full price for what is essentially a F2P game, and one that's currently without the option to even buy anything that amounts to real, extra content.
I personally don't have any issue with Microsoft wanting to sell their games on their own platform. I certainly wouldn't want Steam to be the only source for my games. The really troubling issue for me is that they i already associate Microsoft games on PC with failure, and i really don't want it to be like that. I know they've messed things up in the past, but they've also brought out some fantastic PC games. I was hoping they'd have got their act together this time around & learned from GFWL & the poor launches of services like Uplay & Origin.
Solid, purpose-built PC games with a reliable service to access them from. That's all that's needed from Microsoft to do well in the PC games market.
@xXxKTTxXx: Being a fellow PC user, i completely understand why you'd be swayed over to the PS4 instead of an Xbox One. The exclusives are generally...more exclusive lol, and the PS4 certainly plays the multiplats in the best possible way a console can (assuming you favour the controller at least). That being said, i personally chose the X1 as my main because i generally prefer the exclusives (& prefer to play some of the platform exclusives in a more convenient way with my tv & box) & i like the connectivity with my PC..But that's just me. Halo 5 was a big disappointment to me, but it's alright & at least we have the MCC to go through i suppose.
I loved my Wii U back at release & throughout 2013 :) ZombiU is a cracking game, i don't care what anyone says! I must have played through it about 8-10 times. I packed it in after i finished a few third party games though (notably Deus Ex and Batman: Arkham City) because i've never been in love with Nintendo exclusives in general (i know it's weird lol). The third party stuff looked so promising to begin with, then it all came crashing down in a matter of months.
@sladey: Halo 5 just isn't that great unfortunately. I absolutely love the Halo games, for the single player mostly, but #5 just isn't up to the standard of the others. Not to say it isn't a good game, but you can't deny that the campaign wasn't up to par. I understand that the multiplayer is a big part of Halo etc, but its always been about the campaigns for me (sp & co op), hence my disappointment.
@xXxKTTxXx: It's so strange to me that so many people feel this way about the X1. Believe me i was all about the PS4 in early 2015 & i thought i'd never buy an X1 after they ballsed up the launch so badly. Now it's all i use at my TV (i also own a PC). A solid & decent sized group of exclusives (the PS4 indies can be found on Steam), a nice controller, BC, the list goes on. I understand why the PS4 is leading the pack, it plays the multiplats better than the X1, but by 2:1? I don't get it...
That all being said, U4 is no doubt a cracking exclusive that will strengthen the relatively weak PS4 exclusives list.
@GhostHawk196: Honestly, i prefer the Tomb Raider games to the Uncharted games. That being said, i can't speak for U4 since i've obviously not played it yet.
@Gelugon_baat: I for one would rather never see them again. I generally dislike the boss fight tropes since they more often than not result in the difficulty spiking & include elements of trial and error. Can i not just sit back & enjoy a game in peace without getting annoyed at these sections? :)
