Heck yes! This is awesome news! Level 5, the developers behind such games as Dark Cloud, Dragon Quest VIII, Rogue Galaxy, Professor Layton, Jeanne D'Arc and the upcoming PS3 game, White Knight Chronicles, will be teaming up with Studio Ghibli, the studio behind awesome animated films like Spirited Away and Howl's Moving Castle, among many others!!!

They will be making a DS game called Ni No Kuni: Another World, which will also appear on a console.

Well I was bored and wanted to be creative so I made a new banner. Dante and Nero of course and the background is Fortuna Castle. Made with Paint and MS Office Picture manager....Im going to be so happy when I finally get Photoshop and figure it out :lol: It should make doing these a whole lot faster and they would look nicer.

Ill keep this one up for a bit but I still like my Cloud and Tifa one :) So Ill probably just rotate them every once and awhile...and maybe make something else too at some point :lol: Also switched my blog header cause I know at least one person who wont like my profile covered in DMC pictures :P Plus I have to have Cloud and Tifa somewhere :D

Played more Jeanne D'Arc. Dark_massenger told me that some characters will leave, so I was working on leveling up the ones I had not used in a long time. I had not expected a character to leave so soon after he warned me, and a VERY important character at that :( So now ill have to grind some before moving on...cause the person I have to use now I have not used since the first few missions.

Hey everyone! How has your weekend been? Mine has been so much fun! I got to visit my brother and play tons of DMC4 (14 hours to be exact :D )

So you might be wondering, how did I get to play DMC4 when I never got to finish it before my brother traded it in?

Luckly I happened to stumble across it on sale for $20 brand new. I wasnt even thinking about purchasing it since...well, I dont even own a PS3 yet :lol: It will be fun playing it when I visit my brother. We mostly have entirely different tastes in games so it will be nice to have one that I can play when I cant stand another FPS :lol:

I was able to beat the game as well as start my second playthrough :lol: And it didnt disappoint me in the least. Absolutely loved everything. Nero and Dante are just so awesome :D The fight against the Savior was a blast. It gave me the same feeling of triumph that I felt when I beat Minerva in Crisis Core. I loved playing as both Dante and Nero, each giving the game a different feel.

I wanted to sneak my brother's PS3 home with me :lol: If I was still there I would be playing it right now. It will give me something to look forward to next time...and makes me that much more determined to have a PS3 of my own :D

So that leads me to a blog question:

Have you ever bought a game for a system you dont own but are able to play with the help of a friend/family that owns the system?

Finished! I used the FFTA2 official art for Vaan and Penelo to reference while I was drawing. Like the way this one turned out, probably the best one of drawing 2 characters in the same picture.

In gaming news, Im now on chapter 3 in Jeanne D'Arc. Tried to do a free combat thing that opened up but obviously I wasnt meant to try it yet cause I got beat pretty badly :lol:

I have decided not to get Star Wars: TFU. I would rather save for Star Ocean First Departure next month. Plus I heard TFU's story is hacked up in the PSP version as well as it being pretty short. Anyways, Ill just borrow the book from my dad and get my Star Wars fix that way :lol:

Going to be visiting my brother this weekend. Yay some XBox 360 and PS3 goodness! :D Im thinking about stopping at a video store and seeing if I can rent Infinite Undiscovery and Tales of Vesperia. Im sure that would drive my brother crazy having to watch me play JRPGs :lol: ...Hmmm that sounds like fun! :twisted:

Just a small little update on TWEWY :D

Thanks to everyone for the help to get past Pork City on "Another Day". I maxed out my level and was able to get past the Pig that was annoying me as well as beat the final Bosses. The last secret report cleared up a few things :) I replayed the last day as well to see the extra ending. It was shorter than I had expected but was good :)

For some reason Im one Noise short of getting 100%. Need to go back and find it later.

As I said before I really enjoyed this game :) It kept me hooked with all the twists and turns in the plot. Also once I got the hang of the battle system it was quite fun. I wish they would make a sequel :D I want more. But Im sure I will revisit TWEWY frequently, its just too good not to.

Another day, another drawing :) I took Lady_Bahamut's advice and did Zidane next :D It was fun to do this one. I love how the eyes turned out. Used the Dissidia official art as a reference while drawing.

I have gotten through the majority of "Another Day" in The World Ends With You. I want to know what the designers of that day were on when they made it :lol: Its so funny. Like when (gonna spoiler in case someone hasnt done this day) [spoiler] Neku keeps telling himself he has to resist his emo urges and one of the reaper says dilly-dally shilly-shally. And pretty much anything Joshua does, especially the scene where they are about ready to head to the river and he wants to spend more time with Neku :lol: It is very interesting that this was the parellel world that the "real" Joshua was sent to during the game. [/spoiler]

Im trying to get to the top of Pork City now to get the last report. Im stuck on floor 6. You have to use a certain pin to defeat the pig and I cant seem to do enough damage by the time it runs off the screen. I tried to put all high level attack clothing on to boost the damage, but still didnt work. Maybe see if I can get some clothing for fusion stars and see if that will work...

Long Blog today!

First off, my drawing of my two favorite FFXII characters :) I used the Revenant Wings official art as a reference while I drew. This one isnt as good as the last two. Its ok...I do like how I shaded Balthier's chestplate...thing :D Atleast this time my drawing of Ashe actually looks like her, unlike my first attempt to draw her.

So I have Vaan/Penelo, Zidane and Zack/Aerith left to shade then the 4 requests :P

Also I was bored, decided to wander around deviantart and I stumbled on this funny FFVII art. I pratically fell out of my chair laughing :lol:

Eliminating the Competition

I realized I havent talked much about gaming lately, which is odd cause I have been doing a lot of it :lol: Recently finished Gurumin on my PSP. It was a cute little action rpg. Not challenging but still had a bit of charm to keep me playing. Looking for a cheap (got it for $6), lighthearted rpg? Then Gurumin might be what youre looking for.

Currently I am still playing FFIV, ya its taking me forever :P Absolutely love the game though. I just about ready to [spoiler] travel to the underworld and find the other crystals [/spoiler]

I have also been playing Jeanne D'arc. Im surprised Im liking it as much as I am, since strategy rpgs are usually not my favorite. It was a game I really never thought would interest me enough to purchase it, but after giving it a much closer look I decided to get it. Glad I did cause many times I cant put it down even when its 2am and I really shouldnt play one more mission...yet I do anyways :lol: There are some other PSP games that Im working on too but not focusing on them much.

Also I finally took the time and have unlocked the "Another Day" in TWEWY. Stuck on one of the Pigs in Pork City...I hate having to use certain pins :( I have a combo of pins that I like using and it throws me out of wack using the others :P

I think thats it about gaming, so...

Ummm for me, there are two: Chrono Trigger DS and Star Ocean First Departure.

"Jeez Ashe, didnt your last 2 blogs have drawings?" you might ask me.

"Why yes they did, thanks for noticing" I would reply.

Then you might say "Well this is getting boring, we dont want to see your crap art everyday."

I would then reply, "Too bad :D My blog, my bubble, my rules...Muhahahaha!"

Today I bring you Syaoran from Tsubasa Chronicles. I love this anime, though I have yet to finish it. Dont know what it is about this drawing but I really like it, probably one of my favorites. Oh and there is a reason I shaded each eye differently...I wont spoil the reason in case you want to watch/read Tsubasa :D Had a reference to look at while drawing.

Heya everyone. I wasnt feeling very good this weekend. So I was pretty much stuck in bed or a couch both days. Luckly I didnt feel bad enough not to do something while I was stationary.

Oddly enough, I was in the mood to draw. Ended up doing Kuja :) I used the official art from Dissidia for a reference. It was fun to do a bad guy, the only other two I have done were Sephiroth and Genesis. I thought his hair would be a pain but it wasnt too bad, it just took awhile to do since there is is much of it :lol:

This wasnt the only thing I drew though :lol: I have finished outlines for 5 other drawings :lol: I dont know what order I will be shading them in, it will be a surprise for everyone :P Heres the list to finish:

Genesis Tribute - Savin' Me

So I finished the drawing :) This is one that I had no reference for. The character is straight from my head. Not too bad for my very first time, though I can see its not anywhere near perfect. I had a very hard time deciding how each piece should be shaded, what I wanted light and dark. I even thought about using color but decided against it. I was afraid of going crazy on it and have so much going on that it looked too busy...now Im wondering if its too plain :lol: Well anywho, Let me know what you guys think! :D

Not sure what I want to draw next...possibly someone from Dissidia, perhaps Tidus, Zidane, or Kuja...I need to do more bad guys :lol: And whenever they release the art of Sephy (and hopefully Cloud) in Dissidia Ill probably be trying them.

Ive been hooked on watching anime, the next ones I will be trying are Cowboy Bebop and Fullmetal Alchemist. Since those are the only two left on my suggestion list, Im in need of new ideas on what to watch after them. Heres a list of what I have seen so far:
