Finished DMC + cute FFVII videos

Another DMC game finished :D I enjoyed the first one just as much as 3 and 4. I thought the first one gives a bit more creepy vibe. With the dark halls and lightning when the portal to the Demon World was about to be opened. Difficulty wise, personally I found DMC1 to be a bit more difficult. Dont know if its because I had some issues switching from the button configuration of the other two, but it wasnt hard, just had to heal a bit more.

Story wise it was very good. The begining got me hooked, then the middle kind of made me wonder for a bit if they were going to explain anything. But by the end I enjoyed it as much as 3 and 4.

So now Ill have to start DMC2 and see how it is :D

Sorry no drawing yet :( still havent fixed the printer/scanner problem.

Since Im in a sappy mood, heres a couple of cute FFVII related videos I found on Youtube. First is about Cloud, Tifa, Densel, and Marlene and the second is Tseng and Aerith.

When it Rains

Sweet and Low

I cant believe I almost forgot to mention that I got Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy X and Dirge of Cerberus. Shows you where my brain is :) Will give my impressions when I can play them more.

FFVII Hunt + Gaming Update

I have found Final Fantasy VII! Though Ill try not to get too excited yet cause I dont want to jinx it :P They havent arrived in the mail yet and I need to test them to make sure they work. My parents actually got it for me for xmas...which means I get to test them then I dont get to touch them again until Dec. 25

And you thought 2 weeks for FFVIII was bad lightwarrior179 :P hehehe

I have finished a drawing of Cheza from Wolf's Rain. But I havent got the printer and scanner stuff reloaded on my computer, having issues with it for some reason. Hopefully I can share it soon :D

Continuing to play FFXII. Im at the part where Ashe has asked Balthier to kidnap her and we are all traveling across the Sandsea. For everyone who has played FFXII, who did you guys choose as party leader the most? Ive been sticking with Balthier. I like hanging back and letting Vaan or Basch melee while I just blast them into oblivion

Been playing more of Okami as well. Im at the part where I have to find the Canine Warriors in Kusa.

Also started Devil May Cry 1. Loving it :D which is not surprising to anyone Im sure  Took a bit to get use to the slight difference in the controls from 3 and 4. Once I got the hang of it, it plays just like the others. The story is great, not as good as 3 or 4 though :D I like seeing how Dante's life evolves, from young, know-it-all, to a more refined fighter but still with his trademark attitude. Im up to the part where you get the Ifrit gauntlets, which are just like the Beowolf ones from DMC3 but with fire

My computer exploded....

...where have I been all weekend? Not here unfortunately :( My ancient computer finally kicked the bucket. So my brother has been fixing it up for me the last couple days.

Now its all fast and spiffy! I wont know what to do with my extra time :P It doesnt freeze up when flash advertisments are on a site I visit anymore  Oh and it doesnt take me 15 minutes to view the Dissidia website :D

Well thats all for now, still a lot of stuff I need to reload on this computer.

...hey lookie there, made it to level 31 :)

And so the Hunt begins...

A past meeting haunts the hunter, something has been missing. She wants desperately to relive that long lost moment. But how hard it will be to find it. It was lost to her because it was not hers to own. Time is against her, the prize has been yearned for by others as well.

Now she has the tools to once again utilize this treasure she so desperately wants to own. Patience is needed...patience will reward the hunter. For nothing will stand in the way of her and the spikey blonde haired prize...

:P Well that was different huh? I give all credit to my little creative outburst to lightwarrior179 and his funny FFVIII blog.

Anywho, to explain better (cause Im not sure my writing made much sense to anyone but me  ) , I am on the hunt for FFVII...which could take awhile...since Im looking for one that doesnt require me to sell a kidney to afford it. But Im patient, a bit longer wont be bad :) It will be so awesome to be able to play it again :D

Oh and can someone explain to me why Atlus games are so expensive and hard to find? I cant even find a game I want that isnt triple the price it should be:?

Has anyone else been following the new DS called the DSi? The more I read about it the more I dislike it. Ill be sticking with my DSlite. There isnt anything on the new system that interests me.

What are you guys looking forward to seeing from the TGS? Im looking forward to learning more about most of the SE handheld games, especially Dissidia. Lets just hope for tons of info on everything :D

Finished DMC3 + Anime Fun!

So first off I finished DMC3 :D Very awesome game and I loved every minute of it. I already talked about it in my last blog so I wont say much :P There were some things I liked in DMC3 better than DMC4 but other things that I can see they definitely improved on when they created DMC4. Overall, an extremely enjoyable game that I will defintely be coming back to after I play the other 2 games :D ...Plus its Dante...and Vergil...need I say more?

I got some Best Buy rewards coupons in the mail today, which was absolutely perfect timing. So I picked up the 3rd disc of the Devil May Cry anime which came out today! Only had to pay $5 for it, woot! :P Cant wait to watch it! Also there was an insert in the DVD case that showed some upcoming Anime DVD releases. I glanced at it and practically dropped the case in my excitement. They are going to release a box set of the entire first season of Tsubasa Chronicles!! Ive been waiting for them to do this because the individual DVDs are very expensive to buy. Release date on the insert says Nov. 11. So ill probably get it for xmas or something :)

Speaking of Anime, Ive been watching both Death Note and Cowboy Bebop from Netflix. Im on the 4th disc on each I believe. I like both of them so far :D

Lets see what else...ummm...Im now at the point in FFXII where I have just saved Ashe from the Dreadnought Leviathan and fought the Judge.

Thats all for now, time to go watch Anime or play a game :D

FFXII, Okami and DMC Impressions

I LIVE! Figure my PS2 will thank me for the brief break I give it to write this. I have pretty much been glued to it all weekend. Friday night I stayed up til 5am (wait I guess that would make it saturday morning  )...then got up at 9am to play some more :P

First game I played was FFXII, which I should mention I have played before but only an hour or two of the begining. And it was just as good as I remember it. Im really enjoying the game. It feels like an MMO without the online and other people thing :P Of course I love the characters as well as the story. Ivalice is awesome and I like the more political plot line. Refreshingly different. I very much enjoy being able to customize the party with Licences, creating the characters with the abilities you want. Ive played about 6 hours so far. Im up to the part where Penelo has been captured and Vaan is hitching a ride with Balthier.

Next up was Okami *GASP* I can see the shock that will probably cross a few faces :P Yes I played it before even touching one of the DMC games  Okami is just plain fun. Like I cant even think of the proper words to describe how cool it is. It wins on pure principle that you get to play as a freakin god thats in the form of a wolf. Seriously, wolves FTW  Its enjoyable to just go around and try to restore everything and make the world better. Very unique with the brush abilities. The game is stunningly beautiful, I love the way they made it. Ive played about 6 hours of this game as well.

So that brings me to the Devil May Cry games. I couldnt decide at first if I wanted to go in numerical order or story order. I decided on story order, which means Im playing DMC3 first. Which works out really well too because I can play all 3 then go back to DMC3 and replay the game as Vergil :D I am pleased to say I love DMC3. Dante and Vergil so rock! Story is great, it is cool to see how it all started after playing DMC4. Combat is fun, my favorite weapon is Anji and Rudra. Im getting very close to the end. Im on mission 16, and I think there is 20 or so.

Well thats my first impressions :) Ill talk more about them later as I get further into them as well as my impressions on the other two DMC games. Needless to say I am beyond pleased with my purchase choices. I have a feeling this is only the beginning of the awesome games Ill get to play on my PS2 :D

I love Ebay - Gaming Shopping Spree!

Heya guys! Very fast blog today.

I love ebay. I was able to sell a few things which gave me the money to go to Gamestop and go crazy! :D

So I picked up a new PS2, a memory card, Okami, Final Fantasy XII and the box set of the 3 Devil May Cry games! YAY!

Ive already started playing FFXII. And the reason this blog is short is due to the fact I want to start playing again!

Im trying to decide if I want to play the Devil May Cry games in numerical order or go by the order of the story (3, 1, 2). Well anywho, YIPPEE! , and Im off to play more. Talk to ya later when I can put the controller down for a few minutes :D

2 years on GS!

Yep thats right, today I have officially been on this site for 2 years. Wow ... :)

Let's party!

*throws confetti and hands out slices of cake to everyone*

Alexander Drawing and Life and Chocobos

 I think I have gone cross eyed doing my latest drawing  Dark_massenger requested I draw the summons, Alexander. Tons of fun to draw! It took a bit longer than some of my others due to the detail, though it really wasnt as bad as I thought it was going to be. I apologize for any mistakes I might have made on it. This is the most detailed drawing I have done I believe. :D Im just happy I was actually able to do it  Used the official artwork as the reference while I drew.

Well I normally dont say much about my life other than fun stuff like gaming :) but I thought Id let everyone know that I may be on less frequently and on at different times then I am currently. Im about ready to start college again to get my second bachelors degree. Ill have plenty of time to hang around here, so fear not! You still have to live with my goofy, FFVII loving self :P It probably wont change much, I had plenty of time last time I was in college to spend staring at my computer

Who doesnt love Chocobos? Come on, you cant say their cuteness doesnt effect you :P Wondering what this is all about? Well the Chocobo Tales sequel for the DS will be avaliable in Japan in December and I really hope it doesnt take long to make its way to the states. Chocobo Tales wasnt an epic or complicated game but it was just plain fun. One of those games you can just pick up no matter how you feel. Just read some new details: this time the chocobo will venture into a story book created by Cid, who will play a key role in the game. There will be over 40 mini-games and the card battles are still in it! I thought they were fun. Im looking forward to this game.

Shoot, once again I know I had more to say. But this darn headache made me forget it all. Ah well, it will wait for next time :D

Zack and Aerith Drawing

Finally finished this drawing. I used a screenshot I found from Crisis Core as a reference. It was the part where they went out on their date and Aerith was talking about Zack's eyes :D

So ya...its ok, shading is good, just dont completely like how I drew it. Ah well :)

Thats all I got...sorry no news, insights, rants, reflections, reviews, ideas...yep Im more boring than usual today :P
